I want video footage of Wilt doing this. I'm tired of reading these exaggerated heroics. I still think Shaq would eat Wilt's lunch. Wilt was playing in an excessive scrub era..who was that chump who used to wear glasses on the court..come on!! The first corn ball to stuff the pill..I am still waiting for you to call up worthy adversaries vs Wilt..the only person he had was Bill and he was no match for Wilt.

Shaq had to match up against Hakeem, David Robinson, Tim Duncan, Ben Wallace, Mutombo, zone defense, hack a Shaq, a widened key, no backdown rules, you name it.

Wilt got to toss the rock from between his legs like a baby in a paddling pool and yet average 50 points a game?? And you think that's cos he was a physical specimen? No! He was playing with clowns who couldn't even touch the rim!

It all ties in.

Wilt banged 20,000 broads. The majority of whom must have been white !!!!!

In fact one of his motivations to play for the Lakers was the access to the hot blonds of Southern Cal...

At the end of the 67-68 season, "Chamberlain then asked for a trade, and Sixers general manager Jack Ramsay traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers. The motivation for this move remains in dispute.......Cherry finally adds several personal reasons: the center felt he had grown too big for Philadelphia, sought the presence of fellow celebrities (which were plenty in L.A.) and finally also desired the opportunity to date white women, which was possible for a black man in L.A. but hard to imagine elsewhere back then.[76]"

You keep expressing baseless opinions.

Wilt was a better all around athlete than Shaq. Quicker and more agile.
Shaq has always been nothing but a bruiser. - nothing wrong with that, but Shaq was never skilled.

You forget, Wilt led the league in assists one year !!! beating out Lenny Wilkens a guard. A center leading the league in assists ! thats skill.

Wilt played from '59 to '74 and dominated right to the very end - of not scoring, then rebounding and blocked shots.

Quentin Tarantino admits that Wilt smashed his mom. (no wonder Quentin is so obsessed with black people and the N word).

Quentin Tarantino says his mom dated Wilt Chamberlain: ‘She was one of the thousand’
To Quentin Tarantino, mom is one-in-a-million. To Wilt Chamberlain, the filmmaker says she was one-in-20,000.

In a recent interview promoting his new film "Django Unchained," Tarantino revealed that his mom dated the NBA great and let it slip that she was one of the many notches on the Big Dipper's bedpost.

"It was the '70s and I was living with these three hip single ladies, all always going out on dates all the time, dating football players and basketball players," Tarantino told Terry Gross of NPR's "Fresh Air."

"Professional ones," Gross asked.
"Oh yeah, my mom, she dated Wilt Chamberlain. She was one of the 1,000," Tarantino quipped about his mom, who split with his dad, Tony Tarantino, before he was born.

The filmmaker, of course, short-changed Chamberlain, whose self-proclaimed conquests in the bedroom are the stuff of legend.
"It was almost like a sitcom, the way we lived in the 70s," said Tarantino, who added that his mom's boyfriends would take him to blaxplotation movies. "Because she was in her 20s, she was hot, alright, she was a hot white girl and her best friend named Jackie was a hot black girl and her other best friend, Lillian, was a hot Mexican girl. And they lived in this swinging singles apartment with me."

Sounds like Wilt's kind of place.

I'm talking about dominance. A center's job is to bang in the post. Grab boards, dominate bitches.

That's what Shaq did. Assists are a nice to have and a bonus. Wilt only lead in assists because he was passing out of a triple team of scrubs.

I have asked you to list worthy opponents for wilt on a nightly basis and you have failed to do so, hombre.

Put Shaq up against Wilt and Wilt would be fcuked when Shaq put his 330 pounds on Wilt's 280.
No one was like the Diesel. He played in an elite era of basketball. Wilt's era was full of chumps. Shaq played in the era of Dominique, Michael Jordan, Grant Hill, Alonzo Mourning, Patrick Ewing, Latrell Spreewell, Marcus Camby, Ben Wallace, Rasheed..all these guys were wolves, KD, AI, Ray Allen, Stephon..

I can't even remember the clowns Wilt used to bounce out of the narrow lane for dunks. I once watched an allstar game (retro) when Rick Barry won it with one jumper at the buzzer. There wasn't a soul on the court that could even touch Wilt.

Sorry but I can't really hold Wilt up like that.

Actually, through the bulk of Shaq's career, he didn't face any true centers. When he first entered the league, the last true class of centers were older, but still schooled him. Yeah, he was young, fast and strong, so he got his, but don't get it twisted. He didn't dominate Ewing, Olajuwon, etc. Duncan wasn't a center really, so they rarely matched up. He overpowered Mutombo (drop-step, turn in with the elbow high to the jaw, then dunk), but Robinson could take him out away from the basket where he was useless on D. Once those guys disappeared, he faced blown-up power forwards masquerading as centers. Then Yao appeared, and after a couple of weeks of adjusting to the NBA game, he schooled Shaq on BOTH ends of the floor. I get that the "Shaq is the most dominant center in history" belief is largely generational - because he did everything with pure power, he gets credit from so many fans as being the most dominant. He could also be considered among the most lazy. He was able to get away with that because he was bigger and stronger than anyone match up against him. If he had come up in a different era where he'd face a legit rival almost nightly, he would have been even greater, and may have actually added even more to his game. Shaq ended up having a pretty outstanding career, but most dominant ever? I can't give him that crown.

Although shy and insecure as a teenager, adult Chamberlain became well-known for his womanizing. As his lawyer Seymour "Sy" Goldberg put it: "Some people collect stamps, Wilt collected women."[5] Swedish Olympic high jumper Annette Tånnander, who met him when he was 40 and she 19, remembers him as a pick-up artist who was extremely confident yet respectful: "I think Wilt hit on everything that moved...[but] he never was bad or rude."[5] Many of Chamberlain's personal friends testified[citation needed] that he once had 23 women in 10 days, had no problems organizing a threesome (or more),

Annette Tannander - a Swede, Tarantino's mom...

.Cherry believes that Chamberlain's extreme sex drive was fueled by the female rejection he had experienced as a teenager, causing him to overcompensate.[5] His lifelong friend and on-and-off girlfriend, Lynda Huey, eleven years his junior, said: "He had an inability of combining friendship and sexuality."[22] Shaw added: "Wilt never liked to admit a weakness ... [but] you cannot be married and be Superman ... you cannot appear invulnerable to your mate."

Your comments are simply irrational.

There has been no players more dominant in the league's history statistically than Chamberlain. Only Russell come close because of all the championships.

Shaq is not even close to the player Wilt was - dominance wise nor skill wise.

Both were physical freaks. point taken.

You want me to scour the list of hall of fame centers and forwards from '59 to '74 ???? off the top of my head ?? Russell, Jabbar, Reed,

Wilt:20 Jun 1963, Manhattan, New York, New York, USA --- New York: Pretty As A Pitcher. A figure familiar to basketball fans, Wilt "The Stilt" Chamberlain, stoops to conquer as he prepares to display his skill on the baseball diamond. The pitcher, whose long, lovely legs frame the hoop star, is Carol Hodecker. The cute blonde catcher is Charlotte Kirsten, who came to the U. S., from West Berlin six years ago. Both gals are "Bunnies" (hostesses) from the Playboy Club. Wilt met them as they were warming up in a Central Park field for a game with show girls from a Broadway musical in the Broadway Show League series. Wilt never had such glamorous opponents on the basketball court!
