Damore lost, at least with the National Labor Relations Board. We might have expected this, but I was surprised by just how over-the-top the language is.

Pointing out IQ differences is now on par with propositioning someone or touching them inappropriately:

Google didn’t violate labor laws by firing engineer James Damore for a memo criticizing the company’s diversity program, according to a recently disclosed letter from the US National Labor Relations Board. The lightly redacted statement is written by Jayme Sophir, associate general counsel of the NLRB’s division of advice; it dates to January, but was released yesterday, according to Law.com. Sophir concludes that while some parts of Damore’s memo were legally protected by workplace regulations, “the statements regarding biological differences between the sexes were so harmful, discriminatory, and disruptive as to be unprotected.”

Damore filed an NLRB complaint in August of 2017, after being fired for internally circulating a memo opposing Google’s diversity efforts. Sophir recommends dismissing the case; Bloomberg reports that Damore withdrew it in January, and that his lawyer says he’s focusing on a separate lawsuit alleging discrimination against conservative white men at Google. NLRB records state that its case was closed on January 19th.

In her analysis, Sophir writes that employers should be given “particular deference” in trying to enforce anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies, since these are tied to legal requirements. And employers have “a strong interest in promoting diversity” and cooperation across different groups of people. Because of this, “employers must be permitted to ‘nip in the bud’ the kinds of employee conduct that could lead to a ‘hostile workplace,’” she writes. “Where an employee’s conduct significantly disrupts work processes, creates a hostile work environment, or constitutes racial or sexual discrimination or harassment, the Board has found it unprotected even if it involves concerted activities regarding working conditions.”

Damore’s memo, titled “Google’s Ideological Echo Chamber,” contended that Google’s diversity efforts were misplaced because they ignored women’s biologically driven disinterest in technology. It includes many claims, which have previously been dissected in detail online. But Sophir focuses specifically on Damore’s “statements about immutable traits linked to sex — such as women’s heightened neuroticism and men’s prevalence at the top of the IQ distribution.” These statements were “discriminatory and constituted sexual harassment, notwithstanding [Damore’s] effort to cloak [his] comments with ‘scientific’ references and analysis,” she writes. Moreover, she says Google “carefully tailored” its reasons for firing Damore, limiting them to unprotected portions of the memo.

It's really a symbol of our feminist times that keeps down simple things like the IQ distribution among women, our innate differences, also IQ distribution among certain races.

Seriously - if anyone was more open about it, explained it in school, then it would be so much clearer to understand the distribution of some tribes and groups at the top and the bottom.

But let's keep on denying science and scream racism and sexism while wanting to create an Orwellian communist matriarchy - that will certainly work out well.

America is in such deep shit it's not even funny, making money is becoming next to impossible if you are a White male. I SAW this agenda being advanced at law school, which was one of the reasons I left. I didn't want to enforce the extremely immoral gulag laws.

From my experience walking around Portland State, there are plenty of attractive women dressed like normal college sluts. The gross SJW freaks that show up whenever there's a "let's bash Oregon" thread certainly exist, but they're like the ugly or old people that just aren't on your pussy radar as you walk down the street. I suppose you'd have to deal with them in the liberal arts classes, but I wouldn't know since I was only taking Computer Science courses.

So, there actually is an inherent advantage if you're a masculine dude walking around. While there were still attractive women, I never saw any dudebro types peacocking like I remember back as an undergrad in the 2000s before everyone turned into a sissy. In fact, even when I showed up on campus looking like a complete slob I still got more attention than anyone in the throng of numales.

I figured there was no point in opening a new thread for what I want to say.
I work in Tech and my company has gone big on LGBT and gender stuff lately.
Anyway we have an internal website which frequently has articles on various topics.
Sure enough, the Gender Wage Gap came up and when I saw the article, it already had many comments underneath.
There was one German guy stating the facts politely and about thirty others (mostly women but some men too) disagreeing with him.
I decided to chip in myself, and made some points about thinking critically and not believing the hype around this issue.

I left it at that and haven't gone back however today I have received a couple of 'well done mate!' emails, one from the German guy I mentioned and another from a Hungarian guy, who added that he appreciated that I spoke up and he entirely agreed with me, but just to be careful not to say too much as management have been known to punish truth tellers on this topic.
Anyone else had similar experiences?

And my advice is to use such corporate institutions sociopathically.

In my current job, I'm organizing an event to benefit Latinos. Not because I particularly am down with the cause (I just like underdogs and don't actually give a shit about race or racial causes), but mostly because it gets me known around the company.

Yup - I agree. In the future this may be even used to know who to advance safely or who to sideline. Either stay out of the topic or walk like a corporate suit who would become Stalinist tomorrow if the communists got into power.

Google Lawsuit: Senior Engineer Alon Altman Wanted to Sabotage Trump’s Android Phone, Ban His Gmail Account

Alon Altman, a senior software engineer at Google, pressured the company to sabotage President Trump’s Android phone, according to new evidence released via James Damore’s class-action lawsuit against the company.

Calling on the tech giant to use the “full economic force [of] Google for good”, Altman also suggested deleting the gmail accounts of Trump, his administration, and his aides for “abuse.”

Altman – who is still employed by the tech giant – also called on Google to blacklist “alt-right’ sites on the Google ad network (she falsely included Breitbart News in this category — an assertion refuted by a Harvard and M.I.T. study), and take down all “alt right videos” from YouTube. She also called on the tech giant to remove “neo-Nazi sites such as ‘The Daily Stormer'” from the Google search index.

Altman has been employed at Google for seven years, and according to inside sources, is one of the most radical leftists at the company. She was named as one of the key architects of political discrimination at Google by a whistleblower we interviewed last August. As we have reported, she has previously called on the company to discipline or terminate any employee who agreed with James Damore’s viewpoint diversity manifesto, which argued that there was an atmosphere of political intolerance at Google.

Google seemed to follow at least one of Altman’s suggestions, effectively kicking The Daily Stormer off the internet in August 2017, a move that was condemned even by the left-leaning Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF).

While Google did not follow Altman’s suggestion to remove Breitbart News from its ad network, its employees have begun advising clients to steer clear of Breitbart News, as we exclusively reported in February.

More evidence that Google’s ad departments are trying to undermine the revenue of conservative sites has just been released via the Damore lawsuit.

According to the lawsuit, when Google’s “Large Customer Sales” (LCS) team learned that the Canadian conservative news site The Rebel Media had been targeted by the far-left group Sleeping Giants, they used this as an excuse to advise clients to remove ad placements from conservative websites.

In a template email to Google clients, Marshall Self, Director of Agency at Google, recommended that clients take advantage of Google’s “wide number of controls, including placement exclusions and filters for political content” to remove ads from specific sites, apps, YouTube channels and videos.

This is the latest information that has been released as part of the Damore lawsuit. Yesterday, we reported that Google cautions many of its managers against rewarding behavior that caters the values of “white-male dominant culture,” including “meritocracy,” “individual achievement” and “avoiding conflict.”

Three new plaintiffs have joined Damore’s lawsuit against Google, which alleges that the company discriminates against white, Asian, male, and conservative individuals.
