Yep. I get hit on all the time by gays it's getting old. There's some dudes that are undercover gays and will pretend to be cool with you only to bust some queer shit out of nowhere. It's way more common nowadays.

I would say it didn't bother me but at this point it does. I've tried befriending some for the girls but the last couple years gays don't hang out with girls as much for some reason. And on top of that you seem like a homo showing up with the flaming fag to the party. Not a good look.

I would rather not deal with a guy trying to touch my junk for a while just for social proof.
I can't have a conversation with a stranger these days without that question in the back of my mind: "is this guy a fag?"

From what I've observed, there's two subsets of gays, and what they value is different:

- One set is obsessed with the Young and Pretty. There's a predatory nature to them, like they're vampires who feed on the appearance of innocence, or are just compelled to corrupt beauty.

- The other set is obsessed with traditional masculinity and strength, and have a combination of awe of dominant straight men coupled with a need to feel bullied into a subservient role to us. They imitate masculine appearance and behaviour, but since they reject the effort it takes to earn it, the majority never really understand it, and it becomes little more than a fetish. When they do understand effort, they deeply-respect and champion it: this is Jack Donovan and Milo.

This seems like a pretty good breakdown. I had to deal with the first group when I was in my early 20's and now it seems like I'm dealing with the latter group.

Not at all. Though there's not a huge population of them in my town, the ones I have seen tend to leave me alone most of the time.

There was some isolated incidents where I actually grabbed them cos they went too far. One pinched me on the ass one night, another come and grabbed me on the dick and I grabbed him by the throat and told him to never try that shit again. But it's not a common occurence for me.

I've had a bit of it.
Obviously it can be flustering, and society doesn't tell girls to 'view it as a compliment' when they get aggressively hit on by guy, but that is the best advice- a polite decline. Like a few of the other posters, I've also noticed that gay guys don't seem to be hanging around hot girls as much as they used to, so that removes an advantage of befriending them.

Some guys are naive enough not to pick up on what is going on. Most guys are accustomed to guy-to-guy social interaction being non-sexual and nothing else crosses their mind. Gay guys like the above are using that naivete to get a straight guy isolated.

In before the ban. The only time I've ever been Gay - propositioned was as a student. A slightly effeminate guy from my university course was at my out of the city centre campus bar. He claimed to have missed the last bus and asked if he could sleep on the floor of my room that night.

I got a feeling that this was not a good idea and so declined. He acted strangely to me for months after claiming to have been "roughed up " on the walk back to campus. He got kicked off the course at the end of year 1 for not working hard enough. ( it was a serious STEM degree).
