Health: Apple Cider Vinegar

Yeah... I just can't extrapolate the fucking health benefits of 1.5oz of bullshit... I'm gonna continue to drink it until it is gone (only because I paid for it and I don't want to waste it). Doesn't seem like it's effective...

As far as i know, using too much ACV, such as after every meal, is not healthy. My two cents.

I bought a bottle of this and have been doing a shot of it after every meal. Not sure if it works or not, but I can see me losing weight from its effect as a mere deterrent from eating again, in order to avoid the next shot.

Just put it onto a vinaigrette with Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic and extra virgin olive oil and pour it on vegetables

For those that aren't seeing any benefits, could it be that your blood is at a healthy PH range, so you don't need it?

Probably the case for me, although I never thought about it. Minus a couple bad habits, I'm very, very healthy. So, the apple cider vinegar was prolly just not a good thing for me.

My blood labs are perfect, but it seems like I'm looking for some kind of "optimal performance" enhancer, so I try goofy things sometimes. This was one of them. The shit is wretched and gave me zero health benefits. Even though I did it for 3 months and my labs, essentially stayed the same--the only things that changed went in a negative direction, but still not outside of "normal." It was, basically, expensive and torturous with no benefits and just made me hate eating because I'd take a shot of it afterwards and it was horrible.

True story:
I was helping my buddy load a big ass grill in the back of a truck and he dropped his end and the top heavy grill shifted and hurt my back pretty bad. For a few days my back was killing me. On the afternoon of day number two I took a shot of ACV (first one this year) then laid down and took a nap. When I awoke my back felt a lot better.

Absolutely a true story...
(I'm fairly certain the AVC was not the miracle cure, but the way it unfolded is hilarious to me)

I quit drinking it. I didn't see any benefits at all. It was just wretched and makes your breath smell like shit. Plus, if you really wanted to use it, it comes in pills now.

It's always the guys advocating meat and bro-science that believe in Apple Cider Vinegar. There is nothing great about an acid substance. Our body needs alkalinity.

I am trying the ACV for a few months, about 4 to 5 times a week. I will confirm so far that it gives me decent energy in the morning, but that could just be because the taste is so strong it really wakes you up. ALso I've been avoiding caffeine recently.

Started taking it about 6 weeks ago, stopped about 2 weeks ago because I wasn't noticing any effects I could attribute to it. Then the last week or so I've been having some mild but constant indigestion and weird shits. Nothing too bad but made me realize I used to have those symptoms frequently and they mostly went away when I started the ACV--could just be coincidence. Took the ACV again this morning, we'll see if it fixes that.

I've used ACV dozens of times to kill foot fungus. Foot fungus is a constant battle for me because it is extremely common to get it fro the mats in a BJJ school or from the showers at a gym while traveling, both of which are frequent activities for me. Last year I took a trip to Iceland and got the worst case of athlete's foot of my life from the campsite showers (and I wore sandals while showering). I spent ten weeks using creams and shit and it didn't go away. Had to throw out my favorite boots. The only thing that ended up working for me was soaking my feet in warm water with a few shots of ACV mixed in, twice a day for thirty minutes. Cleared that shit up in under a week. I've heard taking a shot orally can help manage candida levels but I'm not a scientist and have no idea if that is legit or not.

The other thing that works (almost instantly) is an industrial fungicide powder, such as that used to kill potato blight. Ie. Monceren.

So I bought a bottle of the stuff today, Braggs organic with ”the mother”, from a local health food store. Let’s see what happens.
