Where is the research that shows rates of pedophilia according to sexual orientation? Let's have an informed discussion. The idea of some gay guy molesting a child with the end goal of "multiplying the numbers of gays" is absurd ..

However, the analogy by rionomad makes sense. People might self select into an opportunity to be alone and in an authority position with a group of young people of the gender that they are attracted to.

That's why so many boys have been molested by closeted gay priests.

The Catholic Church molestation scandal was never about a religion, it was (and still is) a problem with homosexuals infesting an organization to access young boys. As time went on, a gay mafia evolved to protect each other, should they be found out.

Yeah, in fairness me and a shitload of other people would have had a great deal more sympathy for the Catholic Church if their response hadn't been virtually non-existent. In some cases they actively protected the pedos.

Needless to say that if I were running things and found out about this kind of abuse there would be a new inquisition and the police would be in a footrace to get to the bastards first.

The Catholic hierarchy is either totally compromised from top to bottom or simply 100% impotent in regards to policing their own order. They consider themselves above not only the laws of man but the laws of God.

boyscouts executive will vote this month to amend its stance. I was doubtful that the pedo promotion would follow in the wake of gay marriage but here it is. What could possibly go wrong.

I don't think it's a good idea to enlist your boys as scouts anymore.
