Wow this Naked Music label stuff is great, although it's not house or "dancey". I could definitely see myself putting this music on when I have a girl over. This is a great thread so far. When does the flame war start?

haha dude, most flame wars within house music either start with Deadmau5 or cd's vs vinyl.....im sure we're all good here...

I hate deadmau5, Justice, Etc. with a passion, but I won't go into detail

I really like this mix by Deadmau5: Not Exactly (Ghost In The Shell Remix)

From Deadmaus I like best Strobe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUmvPgH5iD0 and Ghost n Stuff http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7ArUgxtlJs

I was like Brandon before, only listening to oldschool hiphop, but I switched to house completely naturally, it seems when I got my shit together I didn't need to hear "i fuck bitches and make money" every day to pump me up. House music is more a celebration of life, than a reference to a constant struggle.

Deadmau5 is really dead in Medellin, Colombia. When he played in Medellin, he said that Colombian house DJs should stick to Latinusic, which was a huge insult. As a result, he barely sold 300 tixx and was never asked to return. I know the promoter personally and he lost a shitload of cash!!

Podcasts I like (free):

Amnaye (soulful house)

Brazilian Beatz (there is a great brazilian house podcast here)

Abelard Lindsey

Woodpecker
I like house, trance, techno - all of this stuff. I "discovered" this kind of music in the Roppongi clubs while living in Japan during the mid 90's, and have liked it ever since. I think most hip-hop today is rather boring.

I listen to a little bit of House here and there.

Mainly stuff from BlackButter (great channel to subscribe to on Youtube)

A few tunes that are a bit different that I like.

Blacksmif and DJ Rum are in my opinion the main two people pushing a very unique and different sound within the whole House/2step/future bass thing going on.
