Everyone gave me grief in the other forum when I said this was one of the most difficult things I've had to deal with. But, I understand how you feel. My parents were born in the 1940s. Their perspective on vaccines is guided by their own lifetime of experience as well as their own doctors and relatives opinions, news, and their own personal health decisions. They generally distrust the government, can't stand the current administration in the U.S., and so on. But on this topic, their generally rational approach is neutered. I will neither lie to them about my vaccination status, nor will I argue about it with them. They've made their choice and I have made mine. And, as much as I've accepted the consequences for myself, I don't believe they have any concept of the gravity of the decision for my life, my family, my job, whatever may come. Including the possibility that they may not want to see me in person, or may forever think of me differently.
Anyway, hang in there.
