The media groom your children in evil and subtle ways. We must understand the Devil's machinations in the world.
For the purposes of exposition, I examine three women who started out as popular children's entertainers: Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Miley Cyrus.
All of these women have had problems with drugs, alcohol, and failed relationships, and we should pray for their souls, since they are ultimately made in the image of Christ. What follows is not a criticism of these women, but rather an explanation of how the media uses people like them to mould your kids.
In general, here is the pattern:
1. Get them young.
When children are ages 5-10, introduce a harmless show or movie like The Mickey Mouse Club (1990s), Parent Trap (1998), or Hannah Montana (2006-2011). Even in these shows, you can see subversive elements: Parent Trap involves a divorced couple, and Hannah Montana has a single father.
2. Build a cult following around teen celebrities.
Thus, young girls will latch onto Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Miley Cyrus. At this point, parents are unconcerned -- they watch a few episodes of Hannah Montana, and see nothing wrong with their child liking Miley Cyrus, who is just a quirky, innocent teenager.
3. As the celebrities age, gradually introduce increasingly subversive elements.
Britney Spears didn't become a drug addict overnight; her image evolved from cute Mickey Mouse Club co-star, to the slightly harmful "Baby One More Time," to the dangerously "Toxic" music video to her personal struggles with Kabbalah practices. During this time, parents turn a blind eye, since their daughter grew up following Britney Spears, whom the parents have anchored in their minds as the cute Mickey Mouse Club kid.
Similarly, Lindsay Lohan's Mean Girls (2004) is tame by today's standards, but takes subtle jabs at homeschooling Christians -- and Lindsay Lohan's character has a gay best friend.
Even Miley Cyrus's "Party in the USA" was seen as sexy yet wholesome, and nobody could predict at the time that she would morph into what she is now.
4. Go all out subversive.
Miley Cyrus twerking at the 2013 VMAs. Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears now... 'nuff said. The programmatic agenda is complete, and these stars can be discarded to enjoy their wealth.

To a lesser extent, we see this pattern with male celebrities: look at Andy Brennan, a sportsman who came out as gay.
What is the antidote to this evil? Jesus Christ.
We are content as parents to allow our children to latch onto false idols, like celebrities. We should turn our children's minds towards Jesus Christ, the saints, and the angels.
Only God is worthy of worship. The saints and angels offer us examples of a good life.
For example, if your daughter likes Miley Cyrus, then turn her mind towards St. Photini, a damaged woman who was redeemed by Christ. Remind her of her guardian angel, and try reading to her from the Lives of the Saints.
May the Trinity bless you all, my brethren.
