Buy/Do the following:

- Nootropic stacks + good quality coffee for cognitive enhancement when performing tasks that require full concentration. You don't have be on both simultaneously

- High quality smoothie for kale shakes.

- Tailor made long sleeved shirts.

- Evernote subscription or use the free version.

- Slower cooker.

- Gradually start lowering the temperature of your showers until you can handle them cold. Or if you can handle it take 3 minute cold showers every morning.

- Pair of headphones that are at least 120USD.

- Eradicate wasted time via commuting, driving, walking outside alone, eating outside alone etc. by listening to podcasts and educating yourself the entire time. You'll be surprised how many hours it adds up to every month.

Upgrade my wardrobe
- Buy a nice pair of jeans and two nice pairs of chino's (navy and tan/beige), slim fitting, get the bottoms taken up by a tailor to ensure best fit
- Buy a couple of nice shirts, off the shelf if fitted well enough, tailor made otherwise. One white, one navy or black
- Buys some well fitted t-shirts in a few different plain colours (white, black, grey, navy)
- Buy a nice pair of boots and a nice plain pair of sneakers
- Buy a nice leather belt
- Buy a nice pair of sunglasses - shop around to find some that look good on you

Buy a gym membership if you don't already work out
- supplements
- a pack of good quality meat from a local butcher or musclefood.com

Join meetup.com (free)
- meditate
- toastmasters
- anything else that interests/benefits you, bonus if it also has scope for meeting women

Buy a Kindle Paperwhite
Buy Bang and DayBang by Roosh

Get a decent haircut

Essential toiletries
- whatever hair product works for you (wax, clay, putty) I use matte products
- african black soap
- a good facial scrub
- an oil free moisturiser

Good suggestion already on this thread - a lightbox
Get up at the same time every day and start a morning routine - google it for suggestions on what to include. Mine includes 30 mins with the light box during which I read or browse the forum and drink a litre of water, 20 mins meditation and 10 mins stretching. Then I grab a shower and some breakfast and listen to a few feel good songs to put me in a good frame of mind for the day.

I don't think self improvement really requires you to spend $1,000. I guess you could brush on on your wardrobe a bit but I think the biggest things is self discipline, having a positive attitude, learning some new skills, stepping outside of your comfort zone. If your looking to spend a few bucks I'd suggest taking a class to learn a new skill whether it be BJJ or some other physical activity or sports league, web design, photogrphy, etc.

Business: Hire a coach who can help you get your business to the next level, or learn a new business skill that you need.

Which business man in his right mind and with any good skills would spend his time coaching people for money instead of spending time making more money doing business. I find it amazing how people buy into this mentor thing. Either someone helps you out for free and out of good will or he's screwing you over. If he really was that good of a coach, he'd not be selling his life by the hour to you as a "coach".

OP:
I'd get myself some language courses.

Pay a G to someone in your industry who is 10X your revenue to sit down with you for an hour or two and give advice.

Once I decide to ease up working on my business, I'm going to pay someone for one-on-one help in the following areas: game, speaking, and nutrition. I'll even consider paying for mental results coaching as well if I can find someone who isn't a charlatan.

I coach others myself, so I know the value of having direct assistance from someone.

I know I could do all those things above on my own, but getting help from someone should make the process of getting the result I want more effective and efficient. I've spent too long half-reading books, half-finishing online courses, and half-assing doing the things necessary to improve. And as a result, I haven't improved nearly as much as I want.

Some reasons why getting one-on-one help works:

Investment - paying more money makes you more committed.

Accountability - you're forced to answer to someone if you don't follow through.

Clarity - they make the decisions for you so you don't get paralyzed by an infinite number of paths.

Feedback - you know for sure that what you're doing is working.

Motivation - they'll be there for you when you're at your weakest.

If anyone thinks paying for help is too expensive, then I say you need to figure out how to make more money.

If you haven't yet, I would do the following:

1. Complete blood panel to find out where you can optimize. How are your testosterone, thyroid, vitamin d? There's more and they're all important. Make some moves.

2. Hire a nutrition coach. Even if you just pay them for an in depth consultation and a plan, totally worth it.

Either of those two on their own will get you to the next level.

If game and self improvement is really your goal here, then spending your hard earned money on clothes would be a terrible idea.

Why? Because if your game is weak, then wearing nice clothes isn't going to suddenly make your game strong. Yes you'll look better and feel more confident, but honestly, the goal with male fashion is to not look like a slob (and even if you do it's not the end of the world). This can easily be done with a $100-200 budget shopping at Zara, H&M or Uniqlo.

Buying a ticket to another country isn't going to do wonders for you either. Game is pretty much the same anywhere. If you can't score domestically, don't think you'll magically get laid like a rockstar abroad. Unless you're a white dude in SEA, in which case, I advise you to buy a ticket to the Phillippines ASAP.

Honestly, the best way to improve your game is to.... GAME! Go cold approach on the street, the bookstore, the supermarket, the bar, whereever. If you're hellbent on spending money to get there, then make sure you find a reputable coach because there are a lot of scam artists out there. I'm sure there many a seasoned players here (like Vinny for example) who will offer you private coaching.

There is something about wearing clothes that fit just right. When I used to wear suits, having a suit that was perfectly tailored just gave you an extra boost. Because there were plenty of guys that wore suits and looked like shit. Jackets shaped like boxes, shirts shaped like boxes, loafers (sorry that just doesn't work), pants too long, etc.

And maybe your game isn't tight, but if you look sharp, you will get some looks and compliments and that is gonna give you a little morale boost. Maybe even enough to approach if a person struggles with that.

Standing out gives you an edge. I sort of miss the suits days because I know I did that right. I haven't really gotten the hang of dressing outside of suits. Other than make sure your muscles stand out. I know there is more to it than that, but it never interested me as much as popping in a suit.

I would say for 1K you could get started in photography. But you have to like it to do it. Or else it really isn't that enjoyable if you are just trying to get laid. Especially, if you go too desperate and get badmouthed or banned from places like Model Mayhem and craigslist.

Interesting concept. What I'd do . . .

Look around for some quality used gym equipment at a discount. I know you said you're a gym-goer, but if you really want to become elite, there's nothing like having it right there at home, to pick up whenever the urge arises.

That's it, really. Maybe also invest in a few quality self-help books to sharpen your mind to go along with your body.

tall, muscular, middle income....and possibly white?

I'd just learn more game and rack up online dates. Honestly being 6'2" and the rest of your stats already push you into the top 5% of men in the eyes of women. Maybe take the dale carnegie course

Black.

I wish I could rack online dates but I have a total of 8 Tinder matches currently and none on the other dating apps. I haven't been in an online date since the start of the year. I wish I could crack the code, but its gotten so bad recently. I had decent success in 2012 when I was uglier and had no game in getting girls to respond back. Nowadays, I literally can go 5 days on Tinder without a match.

Gym membership
Preworkout - I like muscle for life's Pulse, contains L Theanine good for mood and focus. Caffeine good for fat loss and working out
Healthy food - inexpensive anyway. Lean meats, veggies, etc., but maybe go the extra mile get a meal plan made for you, or paleo meals delivered to you with exact calorie amounts
Skinny / slim fit chinos
Chelsea boots
Plain white/black slim fit t shirts
Haircut, shave, facial

That's only a few hundo really, maybe a stylist or personal trainer if needed? Or travel, most money should be spent on life experiences
