RE: "I Have Coronavirus/Cold/Flu Symptoms" thread I'm not claiming to be a better person than anyone else: if I was graced with the ability to forgive it's due to God's action in my soul repeatedly stressing this message and testing me, rather than anything I willed myself. Part of the grace of recollection is seeing Christ in everything, especially other people, and especially in those who have hurt you. If you can't yet do it, simply ask him for the grace to be able to do so, and he'll start the teaching / reparative process. I'm not claiming perfection. I was shown that my inability to forgive others was my Primary Demonic Wound, following the advice of an Exorcist, which is how they drove my behaviour for years. Now, God always reminds me and reigns me in when I'm tempted to get angry over the behaviour of others. This process is uncomfortable - dying to one's own flawed judgments, particularly our need to condemn - but necessary for all of us. I've only come to this place due to beautiful, repeated humiliation. (Roosh posted a good example of the corrective humiliations recently about rashly judging a girl in his church). Thanks for the prayers, everyone, but may I also ask if you'll pray for the conversion of those who have hurt you?
