I'm a rarity in Europe as a circumcised man, HOWEVER, it was done in adulthood for medical reasons. It's definitely cleaner and what not, but there's no question it reduces sensitivity fairly significantly, I feel sorry for American/Muslim/Jewish guys who were never given a choice. I imagine the sensitivity gets less and less with age, so if you have it done at birth, well...you're missing out on something nature/God put there on purpose.

It was done to me when I was like 6 or 7, and I only keep two vague souvenirs from it, one of them being about to cry when I was in the hospital bed lol.

Maybe this explains why I can have sometimes several difficulties in orgasming (and having to finish myself). Sometimes that's very annoying for me, and might be for my sexual partners too.

Am I opposed to it? I don't think so. However I support the idea of teaching at least the kids about the pros and cons of it. I never had any proper explanation for why, and my own mother only repeated to me what the tradition tells us. Thank God it was done in a hospital, and not traditionnally (on a piece of cloth, on the floor, then having all kids go for a week in the woods and spend the day and nights singing, and-probably- getting sexually abused).

Well I guess I can thank her, if it allowed me to avoid STDs with all the rawdogging I do.
