International travel in light of the coronavirus

Can you name a few cases?
Visa's are harder to get , airports have more checks and BS to go through. Prices of air-tickets are now nearly double in price, clot-shot vaccine required for dozens and dozens of countries, quarantines are common whereas prior to this it was unheard of.

America - Vax still required.

Canada - Vax not only required to enter but you can't leave the country without having had the Vax!

Things must have calmed down since then, as I think it was last year when my buddy told me of it.
There are hardly any similarities between last year and this year. Many more people don't care about mask mandates this year. Nightlife is open pretty much everywhere, people aren't greeting each other using their feet anymore etc. People aren't even talking about covid, their talking about energy bills.

China is still in full blown April 2020 mode in some areas. If what the news says is true, some people died in an area that was locked down because they weren't allowed to leave their homes during an earthquake. I guess choosing between getting squashed to death by a building OR escaping but having your social credit score reduced to Error Code F (this is the error code that appears when the social credit score drops below minus 50 000 000) because you flouted the lockdown laws are essentially viewed as the same thing in Chinese culture.

Oh and the US also still has the retrograde vaxx mandate to enter the country.

An update:

I asked the girl who I'm visiting in Spain, and she talked to her friend. Apparently her friend knew someone who flew in from the US as well, and they didn't check him at all, he was unvaxxed and untested. I also called my airline and the lady I spoke to (who was very nice and honest) basically slipped in that the airlines don't even bother checking this nonsense anymore.

Furthmore - It is now very difficult to find testing centers. I actually called several health clinics first and they literally said they don't do Covid tests anymore. I scheduled an appointment at a major healthcare facility and the receptionist told me Covid tests were done "across the street". I walk over and its a nondescript building with no doors or windows or signs, and only a few shipping doors...one door is open and inside its a completely empty garage save for an abandoned tollbooth in the corner and a man working on what appeared to be some government/city vehicle. And yes, it was the right building, albeit a completely different address than what I was told. Anyway, I waited around for 5-10 minutes then cursed repeatedly and left.

The only places I found that would actually do testing were pharmacies like Rite Aid/Walgreens, but they charge you. I even called my insurance company and they do not reimburse either. Ended up paying $150 out of pocket. I know it was probably unnecessary...but I don't want to get sent back home and be out $1800 for my flight and hotel.

Anyway, my sense in all this is that most people/orgs have seemingly done a complete 180 in regards to their attitude and policies towards Covid. Does the news even talk about it anymore? Somehow, this total backpedaling is even worse, because they just quietly abandon it without ever admitting how insidiously wrong they were. I mean on some level I'm definitely glad the tide has turned but to just move on without addressing their astronomical error is an absolute disgrace.

Can you just get an editable .pdf or electronic document just to show them in case they ask? Most of the time this bureaucratic nonsense is all about just giving the other person the plausible deniability. Who actually asks you for the test result if you travel?

There was no “error” They accomplished exactly what they intended to. Disruption of status quo reality, massive economic destruction, distraction and enhanced division of-the masses, restructuring / reduction of huge corporate debt via inflation, historic redistribution of wealth, introduced unprecedented top down control under the guise of “ public safety and health”, made masks a permanent visual fixtur....I could go on, and on

Oh yeah...you wasted $150. If the airline told you you dont need it then you dont.

Hmm according to the Sherpa map you need a PCR to enter Spain unvaxxed from the USA.

But if you flew to Portugal and then flew to Spain you wouldn't. So ridiculous.

Here is the Spanish health details: https://www.sanidad.gob.es/en/profesionales/saludPublica/ccayes/alertasActual/nCov/spth.htm

I know your pain, flying as an unvaxxed feels like Russian roulette. I also went to Spain at the start of the year and just got a test "just in case", its a huge hassle. I have now made a rule to only travel to countries with no entry requirements.

I also only fly with the middle eastern airlines now (Emirates, Qatar, Etihad) as everyone sucks. In fact I will probably travel as little as possible going forward due to the hassles, costs and ridiculousness of it all.

I am actually transiting through Spain on my way back to Australia from Mexico this month and there is no requirement for transit. Of course I have to fly right around the world the wrong way as I can't transit through North America to fly over the pacific... :boring:

Brazil still needs the jab as reuiqrement - but can anyone confirm this?
Yes, incredibly it still seems to be the case. I was sure they would drop it when all the other latam countries did.

The cuck countries are USA, Canada, China, Brazil, New Zealand.

Even Australia has dropped that requirement...

My wife and kids, all non vaxxed, just travelled back from EE to the US without any issue whatsoever in either direction. No one at any point asked for anything related to COVID, vax or masks.

Because you are a US citizen traveling to and from Europe which is almost entirely open.

Non US citizens can't enter the US.

I have to fly the opposite way around the world to get home because I can't transit through North America at all to fly through the pacific.

I believe it. And yeah, but I wasn't going to take her word for it alone in the off chance some Karen screws me over. My airline app wouldn't even let me check in until I had completed a bunch of Covid authorization nonsense.
