Can you name a few cases?Travel has become a luxury now, due to lockdown and spread of corona virus all over the world. And to travel internationally there are strict regulations and rules to go through which makes it a tiring experience.
Visa's are harder to get , airports have more checks and BS to go through. Prices of air-tickets are now nearly double in price, clot-shot vaccine required for dozens and dozens of countries, quarantines are common whereas prior to this it was unheard of.Can you name a few cases?
Outside of Europe not so much. Also in France you have to literally be scanned into supermarkets and shops with your phone via the picture thing. What??? In Europe you can travel freely!
Nope. I was in Paris about a month ago and life goes on like before. Nobody scanned me, nobody asked me of anything.Outside of Europe not so much. Also in France you have to literally be scanned into supermarkets and shops with your phone via the picture thing.
Things must have calmed down since then, as I think it was last year when my buddy told me of it.Nope. I was in Paris about a month ago and life goes on like before. Nobody scanned me, nobody asked me of anything.
There are hardly any similarities between last year and this year. Many more people don't care about mask mandates this year. Nightlife is open pretty much everywhere, people aren't greeting each other using their feet anymore etc. People aren't even talking about covid, their talking about energy bills.Things must have calmed down since then, as I think it was last year when my buddy told me of it.
There was no “error” They accomplished exactly what they intended to. Disruption of status quo reality, massive economic destruction, distraction and enhanced division of-the masses, restructuring / reduction of huge corporate debt via inflation, historic redistribution of wealth, introduced unprecedented top down control under the guise of “ public safety and health”, made masks a permanent visual fixtur....I could go on, and onAn update:
I asked the girl who I'm visiting in Spain, and she talked to her friend. Apparently her friend knew someone who flew in from the US as well, and they didn't check him at all, he was unvaxxed and untested. I also called my airline and the lady I spoke to (who was very nice and honest) basically slipped in that the airlines don't even bother checking this nonsense anymore.
Furthmore - It is now very difficult to find testing centers. I actually called several health clinics first and they literally said they don't do Covid tests anymore. I scheduled an appointment at a major healthcare facility and the receptionist told me Covid tests were done "across the street". I walk over and its a nondescript building with no doors or windows or signs, and only a few shipping doors...one door is open and inside its a completely empty garage save for an abandoned tollbooth in the corner and a man working on what appeared to be some government/city vehicle. And yes, it was the right building, albeit a completely different address than what I was told. Anyway, I waited around for 5-10 minutes then cursed repeatedly and left.
The only places I found that would actually do testing were pharmacies like Rite Aid/Walgreens, but they charge you. I even called my insurance company and they do not reimburse either. Ended up paying $150 out of pocket. I know it was probably unnecessary...but I don't want to get sent back home and be out $1800 for my flight and hotel.
Anyway, my sense in all this is that most people/orgs have seemingly done a complete 180 in regards to their attitude and policies towards Covid. Does the news even talk about it anymore? Somehow, this total backpedaling is even worse, because they just quietly abandon it without ever admitting how insidiously wrong they were. I mean on some level I'm definitely glad the tide has turned but to just move on without addressing their astronomical error is an absolute disgrace.
Hmm according to the Sherpa map you need a PCR to enter Spain unvaxxed from the USA.An update:

Sure, will do that...Can you name a few cases.?
Yes, incredibly it still seems to be the case. I was sure they would drop it when all the other latam countries did.Brazil still needs the jab as reuiqrement - but can anyone confirm this?
My wife and kids, all non vaxxed, just travelled back from EE to the US without any issue whatsoever in either direction. No one at any point asked for anything related to COVID, vax or masks.Visa's are harder to get , airports have more checks and BS to go through. America - Vax still required.
Canada - Vax not only required to enter but you can't leave the country without having had the Vax!
Because you are a US citizen traveling to and from Europe which is almost entirely open.My wife and kids, all non vaxxed, just travelled back from EE to the US without any issue whatsoever in either direction. No one at any point asked for anything related to COVID, vax or masks.

I believe it. And yeah, but I wasn't going to take her word for it alone in the off chance some Karen screws me over. My airline app wouldn't even let me check in until I had completed a bunch of Covid authorization nonsense. There was no “error” They accomplished exactly what they intended to. Oh yeah...you wasted $150. If the airline told you you dont need it then you dont.
