I praise God daily that shortly after marriage he lead us find our home in a very large active growing traditional Catholic community full of many young families around our age. He will lead you where you belong in His time, which may not match your own timeframe but will be full of all the grace that you can imagine. We had been searching closer to each of our parents and other areas of interest fruitlessly for several months. We were at our wits end thinking we were priced out of decent single family homes and tied to areas that weren’t for us. We prayed to find our place to set up our roots. Someone casually mentioned this area to us in passing. We had visited before while dating and it wasn’t too far from family. This town is full of Christ centered families and a thriving Christian community life. Abundant options for Catholic schooling and social life. He lead the way here, we found our home the day it was listed at our exact price with everything we had hoped but thought would not be possible, just right. Through His grace our offer was accepted over multiple others. When it is His will it will come to you. When we had our first child we met so many friends in our community as the ladies at church set up a meal train. We didn’t have to cook for several weeks! Every passing year we feel more enmeshed in this community and closer to Christ. He has blessed us greatly and I wish the same for all of you. May you find the path that God has for your life. When I think of my life God has always lead me where I belonged, often after much prayer and discernment and growth through pain. After many years of prayer for a Christian husband he moved me back home where I met my future husband shortly after. He lead me to find a new church and that’s where my husband was called to convert to Catholicism before our marriage, whereas he had been unmoved previously. It had been weighing on my heart as I desired full communion with the church through a sacramental marriage and raising children in His church. Through Him all things are possible. “And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Luke 11:1-13 and Matthew 7:7-12
