Is my religion / denomination a mass psyop?

I have been having problems with my pastor and church leadership lately so I want to change denominations or convert. I see him as a businessman who just wants money from us. Guy lives in a huge house and wears and flaunts gold chains and when I questioned him claimed Jesus was a 'very rich man' since the wisemen gave him 'tons of gold pounds of it and frankincense' and it is justified cuz he needs to be rich to guide the flock. Certain other events have come to light too female related.

Which got me thinking that this is just a huge psyop for power and money. Think about it...

He preaches to give and not be greedy while clearly doing it himself, placates us so he gets rich and keeps getting more hot women.

If this life is all we have, the sermons placate us and reduce any material competition with him and others who want to win at the game of life by gaining more wealth and power. It's like tranquilizing a big animal. So I think the only Christians who I really respect are those who take a real vow of poverty, otherwise it seems like a con game.

How can I know I am not being conned by a slick church who wants to eliminate me as competition?

This is a huge red flag. More hot women? This guy ought to either be married or seeking a wife, not dating loads of hot women.

Run a mile. You're being conned and probably spiritually misled. Don't go there anymore and don't give them any more of your money.

You need to get out of there. That's not where you want to be. Sadly, this is a tale of many, if not most, Protestant churches. Are there any Orthodox churches where you live?

Thank you kind sirs, I want to leave but he has a grip on the community, I'm telling y'all he is very very slick. When I bring up my concern they say he is not really like that and that it was his ex-wifes fault that drove him to date again and that he is mentoring the women at the same time.

The first time I met my priest in private, I was early and waited for his arrival. I remember hoping he wouldn't be driving some luxury car.

He rolled up in what appeared to be a 20 year old Saturn with faded paint and a creaking drivers side door.

Seeing that just confirmed my trust in my spiritual father.

I've never met a Protestant minister who claimed that Jesus was a rich man.

How long did you follow this man's teachings before the light came on?

I don't consider myself an exceptionally intelligent man, but I *might* have given him 60 seconds of my time before walking away,....probably less.

If you've devoted more than that to his message, I don 't know what to tell you.
