Are the Israelis so loyal to their agents that they'd risk Maxwell (and maybe even a rescued Epstien) to live? Is she already dead? Or is she being pumped for every last bit of useful information and tortured to give up her dead-man switches?

Personally I don't buy the idea that a case was being built against Epstein for 5 years only to place him in a corrupt Jew-York prison with sleepy staff and broken cameras. We're not even talking about a simple pedo-ring operator. He was well known to have intelligence ties.

It doesn't pass the sniff test. Not even remotely. It's just chum thrown to the folks who want an explanation that allows them to sleep a little better at night. "The system is still redeemable. They had a bad stroke of luck there with that Epstein business, but they're really trying! Honest!"

Corruption by those with power is more like Baskin Robbins 31 Flavors than Star War's Force vs The Dark Side :good guys on one side bad on the other.

Terrible analogy but my point is Epstein being actually prosecuted and then his being whacked could very well have both been of nefarious intent yet independent of each other.

Most prosecutors aren't really out for justice as much as getting a conviction notch. Landing a high profile pedo perp like Epstein (now Maxwell) is like bagging the trophy elephant. Its especially the type of case that could propel an ambitious DA with political aspirations.

Still ...the fact that there's really been no buzz about her being the next target in this saga may mean she never will be
