At least, that is how I understand it.

That's the dominant view but there is the theory that the jews in Eastern Europe are not semitic origin but are japhtites or scythians, and were originally from mountainous areas in Iran, and eventually settled around where is now Chechnya, forming Khazaria, which was from Crimea to the Caspian Sea. In this view, Kievan Rus conquered Khazaria and ultimately relocated them to modern day Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania, and Poland under the "Pale of Settlement" beginning in the 1700s. The theory is they developed hatred for Russia ever since.

It's interesting to read about this because there are different Turkic people's who converted to Judaism sometime in 700-900 AD. Khazars are one group and Crimean Karaites are another, and while the Khazars practiced rabbinic judaism, the Karaites did not (they did not accept the Talmud). The Karaites apparently lobbied for an exception from the rules of the Tsar that applied to Jews by arguing they were not practitioners of the Talmud. So there are distinctions.

I really don't go with all the mystical Khasarian theories. In my view, it's much more simple.

Many Jews fled Europe from 1935 to 1945 to Russia. The Germans set up humanitarian corridors via Birkenau to Russia for Jews to move to a safe place. After the war ended the iron curtain closed and many jews couldn't go out of Russia, they had to work in factories, on the land, instead of running parasitic schemes on the goy.

After the soviet-union collapse 1.6 million Jews left for Germany, Israel and the United States. 900.000 moved to Israel even on the population of today (9 million) that's a huge amount of people. That means everyone knows people that left Russia.

I think this is the main reason on this anti-Russian sentiment.

I think the Jews would love the country to break down that made them work and to topple the regime in Russia and make it another Jewish puppet state. And even though Russia has anti-semitism laws, it isn't the best host, in Western Europe they can live all their perversions, control the media, bully the goy and be honoured for it. They sphere of unfluence in smaller in Russia. Nevertheless also in Russia an important force.

Many Israelies have a direct connection with Russia, many Jews in Israel still speak Russian today. In 2009, Science Minister Daniel Hershkowitz said the immigration wave helped the Israeli universities, where one of every four staff members is now a Russian-speaker.

Assuming there's something by Procopius (and his secret histories) I have the book. I've read it. He also insinuates Theodora was loose... I don't take it as historical truth. Merely a way for him to publish dirt about famous people long after they could scourge him for scandal. Asha Logos may be well read... but if he cant tell that this is obviously a slanderous book then he's worth less that cockroach poop in my book. Again I didn't watch the video... but I am sure I know where its going having a copy of the Secret Histories in my personal library and having read it in college for my Roman Empire class.

Justinian was a prolific builder of churches. Standarized elements of the Divine Liturgy, and was an extremely pious person.

I've got Secret Histories. I'll pass on the video. Well researched or not... He did more for Christendom than you or I could ever imagine doing.

I'm not gonna derail the thread anymore, but seriously consider the impact of calling into question the validity of a Saint. Considering this is an Orthodox forum, I'd be more careful with your language... but that's your call.

I had to edit the above because I initially attributed comments you made to the post you quoted. my apoligies as you did not say anyone was "demon possessed" just merely called into question the "troublesome" nature of Saint Theodora's sainthood.
