Joe Biden thread

Things are going to get really bad in 2024. You have less than two years to prepare yourselves and your families. We will be audited, our churches will be targeted, and potentially far worse.

This is good entry point for this conversation to take place and the question that I have is, what responsibility does the Orthodox Christian have if things start to go downhill and, God forbid, things go sideways?

I'm a new convert to Orthodoxy, but was a red-pilled Protestant for 12 year prior to my conversion and was under the conventional mindset there may come a time where resistance would be necessary (as Roosh says, it's in the name) however as I read the lives of The Saints as well as the recent persecuted Orthodox Christians in Romania and Soviet Russia, it seemed they considered an honor to suffer for Christ and Martyrdom was the ultimate calling for the Orthodox Christian.

What kind of preparation is appropriate and what should be the response of an Orthodox Christian?

Is it simply to ensure that we're living in a constant state of repentance or is there something more that God expects of us?

This is where I kind of miss Roosh's podcasts, since they usually contained some twists and turns in and out of these topics and he offered an Orthodox view on stuff like this. The only other resource that I've found that comes close is E. Michael Jones.

The Rod Dreher retweet of Jennifer Rubin's tweet is pretty alarming, but not surprising to most of us who understand history and the JRS which is why I attempt to stress to those who will listen that in order to really understand what's happening today in America, it's important to understand history and the rebellion against Logos and who's behind it, since it seems to me it's the common thread throughout all of history and simply a continuation of this rebellion today in America.

I think people who may only go to Infowars for alternative news only pay attention to the last 100-200 years of history and are missing the big picture, since this part of the puzzle is NEVER discussed and the usual suspects are always ignored which leads me to believe that Alex Jones is not really interested in solving the problem, since it's impossible to do so without identifying the root cause.

Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on us all.

I don't know if this guy is for real or not, but if he means this sincerely then I couldn't have said it better.

Follow-up interview:

I suggest posting that in the Tucker Carlson thread. We know he or one his producers lurks so maybe they’ll interview this guy

"Jackie, are you there? Jackie, where's Jackie?"

Another embarrassing appearance by a completely confused Biden

Clearly, Biden is no longer in control of his senses. At the beginning of his speech yesterday in the U.S. Congress, he called out "Jackie" several times. This refers to Jackie Walorski, who was a member of the House of Representatives before her accident in August. She died in that accident.

It got really awkward when U.S. President Joe Biden began asking during a speech yesterday if Congresswoman Jackie Walorski - who died in a high-profile car accident in August - was in the room. "Jackie, are you here? Where's Jackie?" a visibly confused Biden muttered as he delivered his opening remarks at the White House Hunger Conference. The 79-year-old Biden looked out into the audience and continued, "She should be here."

Jackie Walorski, to whom Biden referred, was a member of the House of Representatives and an initiator of the conference. However, she died in a car accident in August, which drew much attention. In response to Walorski's death, Biden himself offered condolences to her family and expressed his appreciation for her political work. In addition, the White House raised flags at half-mast in honor of the late congresswoman. So all of this happened last month.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tried to gloss over Biden's lapses at a press conference later Wednesday. Her explanation was that the president was full of thoughts about the deceased and that this kind of thing happens.

“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”
