It did. People are already talking about it on Twitter using the term "Streisand Effect." The banning has now become a story of its own. Even on NextDoor people are discussing why it was being blocked -- and these are non-political people.I wonder if this will lead to a Streisand Effect, where the tech censorship leads to the Biden story blowing up more than it otherwise would?
Sounds like the Biden campaign is repeating the same mistakes that the Clinton campaign did in the waning days of the 2016 campaign. Clinton didn't campaign in any of the states that flipped to Trump, assuming that they were in the bag.Call it the don’t-touch-anything strategy.
Team Biden knows they’re ahead against President Trump, with national polls showing Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden above the 50 percent mark. And with under three weeks to go until Election Day, the campaign has been doing just enough to keep things where they are as the clock ticks down to Nov. 3.
In recent weeks, Biden has been traveling more than he had earlier in the pandemic — making short trips to key battleground states as he did on Tuesday when he traveled to Florida — but his campaign has usually limited events to one speech a day. Those speeches are largely the same and his campaign has all but avoided long-ranging, sit-down national interviews where he could be asked a prickly question. And last week, when Biden got into a political standoff with Trump over the format of the second debate, it was Biden’s team that said take it or leave it.
Nice to know. Wall Street Journal has nothing on it besides the a opinion from the editorial board which is separate from the main WSJ newsroom. And this is the uber conservative evil Newscorp owned paper according to liberals.Nepotistic crackhead son of bumbling former VP forgets he drops his dirty laptop off while on a crack bender.
This is better than 2016.
This is how the MSN are dealing with this:
Bezos Post - a good way down the homepage: "Hunter Biden's alleged laptop" ... purportedly ... supposedly .... allegedly ...
New York Slimes - nothing on the homepage; they have published a buried article regurgitating what the Biden campaign has told them
Clinton New Network - apparently no article, but they have an article on Mitch McConnel's disturbing laugh
BBC US - nothing
NPR - fairly balanced article near the top
Politico - pro-Biden piece near the top
Vice - very short, uninformative piece near the top
RT - main story
The Guardian - nothing, but they are running an article on how Biden it targeting Star Trek fans
Breitbart - all top stories
So what this guy is saying is that Twitter wasn't wrong to censor this news, it was just wrong to not provide one more pop-up along with the censorship to explain why it was being censored.
I didn't want to include Twitter Safety's long thread because...pardon my French...
Katie Hill has been photoshoped into that one obviously but the cringy pictures of Hunter in the bath or with a meth pipe in his mouth are real.Wait, is that photo for real? It looks like he was proudly posing for this stuff, not like someone took it without his knowledge.
