I was drunk when I wrote that. Still. She is a waste of talent on a meaningless tv show.I think false rape accusations are on the more extreme end of shitty female behavior. You don't find a lot of institutional support for that kind of thing. I have a few friends who've been falsely accused of rape; in most cases the cops didn't even take them seriously, in the one case that did make it to court, the case was dismissed in a day.

I didn't watch the entire thing the other day because I was on my phone. 99% of people, including criminals, know that it's in your favor to be nice/friendly to the judge and appear as innocent as possible. I'm not surprised that the modern, entitled American girl attitude carries over the into the courtroom like Ginger in the clip. They just don't know when to stop.

I like Judge Judy. One of my favorite bosses ever was this post-menopausal chain smoking old woman who was basically the Judge incarnate. A man could potentially learn something about power plays by watching how she interacted with her superiors. She had a lot of cancer scares and was old enough to simply quit giving a shit. A lot of us coworkers called her Mom.

Incidentally, this case reminds me of WestIndianArchie's problem a couple of months back. Almost identical circumstances.
I wonder how that turned out.
While it's nice that there is a Judge who is just and not misandric , this just reinforces the illusion for many guys who watch this show that the court system is just.
Non-TV judges are different most of time.
So when some bitch falsly accuses them of rape or divorces them and takes most of their property and kids they are unprepared, shocked and betrayed.
