Guys,

Your reaction has been nothing short of hilarious. I get the sense some of the more underachieving beta males on this forum have been struck with jealousy.

I was never asking for advice on how to get my next role. That's easily sorted, and I'm already going to interviews.

Rather, I was asking how to deal with this lady on a more personal level. What could I do to take out revenge?

Supreme Court judge?

Either a troll or a strict Constitutionalist. Betting the former.

A Supreme Court judge in Australia not the USA. Don't be too presumptive. It reflects poorly on your own social status and it clearly reveals your own social circle to be composed of losers who simply can't fathom someone working under someone who is now a judge.

I'm concerned about your social circle.

You are a lawyer asking about how to be a lawyer?

I have an idea:

I don't know what its called down under, but what lawyers do in america is called "suing" people. I'm not a lawyer, but I think those guys that are call it "wrongful termination" or something.

Aloha!

Ummm....when did I ask about being a lawyer? It was you who wrongly inferred I was seeking legal advice. It would be best if you took advantage of your logical thinking skills rather than your emotional impulsive side.

Don't blame us for a poorly worded question. Can't speak for the others but I will always be happy for another RVFer having success.

Now as for how to get back.....do you have any physical access to go back and get your stuff or not?

If yes look either use liquid ass or fill up her candy bowl with sugar free gummiess. If not call her up and say that your friend has a cat and since you know she loves cats you thought she might be interested. If she agrees go to she shelter and get the nastiest cat they have.

I'll give you a tip: this a forum full of 'alphas' but nevertheless it is a forum where we don't really need you to act like a prick. You must be new. You can be 'alpha' all you want in real life but being a bit 'beta' on here might just you know actually get you the assistance that you are looking for.

Go find a gay man and have her walk in on you two while the gay man is pegging you up the ass.

Why does the dude come in here trying to find out ways to get revenge? Sounds more and kk ore like a sperg with each post. And then putting the words on memes makes it even more amusing.

Yes we are overwhelmed with jealousy. I apologize on behalf of everyone for not recognizing the ALPHA in that BADASS LAWYER RESUME. Compared to you we are all just underachieving betas.

Hi fellow RVFers,

I need some advice from older forum member and/or entrepreneurs.

I am 29 year old lawyer working in London. I earn about 140-160k USD (equivalent) from my job. On paper, I have very strong experience for my age level, but I find the work very dull (so dull, in fact, that I try and sneak in doing my own business stuff while at work).

As a result of being bored at work after graduating from law school, I started two businesses. These businesses now two online business that generate a total of 200-250k combined profit per year. I have been running these businesses as "side projects" for the past 3 years, but they have really started to grow this year and I'm focusing on growing them further. I see a good chance of bringing 500k USD profit in the near future.

My question: should I focus more on business or, on the other hand, focus on becoming an expert in my field of law?

My businesses are in fields people would deem as boring and lame. I feel I might have wasted my law degree and my experience.

Sydney has to be one of the WORST places on earth for gaming.

I grew up in Sydney.

The dynamics of the city are all mixed up. Jobs that traditionally pay high = law, medicine, banking = all pay low in Australia. However, jobs that pay low elsewhere in the world (and that pay low elsewhere), all pay high in Australia due to high minimum wage and mismanagement of the economy. You thus get 0/10 fatties thinking their hot.

Grow the fuck up and get help for your psychosis?

What the fuck is wrong with you? OUT OUT OUT!

For more normal people in the future who read this thread: Manage your boss as well as your subordinates. If a real crazy cat lady becomes your supervisor, deal with it. Transfer laterally or get a new job. Get your resume tuned up, and stay out of the line of fire until you can make a move. That goes for crazy male boss as well, the gender doesn't factor in here at all, only the fact that you don't control your own destiny when you are someones employee.

Cheers. ;)

I always enjoy Vac.Perms positive, upbeat attitude in all his posts. I don't think I ever saw a single negative post from him.

What do people do, financially, when they get fired in the US?

How much $ can you get from unemployment?

Are people typically given a severance package?

Do people just quit and live off (and burn through) savings?

Take out loans?

Whats the strategy and what are the options?

Disclosure: I've spent most of my adult life building my career at the same firm, and before was in school / grad programs during which I worked random ass jobs from which I sometimes quit, but was not fired. Curious to learn what people do when they are cornered into unemployment.

I don´t have to be a lawyer to realize if the OP is telling the truth he will find a similar job in 3-6 months. Unless there´s a recession or he enters some depression.

I could have been clearer. I was meaning that the OP is someone who's pretending to be a lawyer. If he was telling the truth then you're right, it really shouldn't be hard for him to find another job. I just don't believe he's the super lawyer he's claiming to be.

It would be best if you didn't write Ummm.

Reread your initial post. It sounds exactly like you want legal advice.

Use you fancy logic, and imagine someone wrote this:

Hey guys, I'm a fisherman.

I'm really good at it. I fish in the Supreme Lake. That's where the dig ones are.

My question is, I'm hungry. I'm standing next to some water and I have this hook, line and sinker. What should I do?

Take advantage of your logical thinking skills.

Aloha!

So a top Fortune 500 Lawyer can't find a way to sue someone for unlawful termination of employment, while asking random people on a forum what legal action to take?

Where do I sign up for a Law School scholarship?

How do you take revenge on your former employer?

By eating their market share or using the situation as a leapfrog into something better.

I worked for a crazy, neurotic boss before as well. By giving zero feedback on her horrible management style when I quit and allowing her to continue harping her office to death, I win.
