[QUOTE="TravelerKai, post: 1197793, member: 7561"] Checked the first two studies. According to them, if I raise my mixed children in China instead of the US and the UK they will not develop mental and behavioral issues, because the US and UK are just too racist of an environment and will give them identity issues. So technically it is environmental and that is aside from the issue of racism in America and the UK being warranted, factual, systematic, real, imaginative, or perceptual, as well as age groups and various generations (a 50 year old has had significant racism difficulties opposed to a 10 year old today). This football player appears to have had two parents and it does not seem like there is any evidence of issues related to that. I think too many liberties were taken with these studies to make a point about race where that is extremely unlikely to be a factor here. We do know for a fact that CTE affects the judgement sector of the brain and increases propensity to violence. Winslow was a very physical defensive position football player known for hitting people very hard and knocking out others. It is very very likely he may have CTE symptoms. Unfortunately for him I do not think they have a good way to determine this while a person is alive with brain scans (last time I checked), so if he intends to use the insanity defense, his lawyers are going to struggle to prove that in court to get any leniency on sentencing.
