My confidence in this judge is very low at this point, based off of his acquiescence to media pressure.

What is wrong with the defense? They're requesting a mistrial without prejudice? What? The prosecution would even agree to that!
Honestly throughout this I've wondered if the defense was intentionally trying to lose, this is literally taking a knee on the 1 yard line with 1 second left in the superbowl when you're down by 4. Insane incompetency. You're about to win, go for it! Maybe that's a bad analogy because really it's worse than that.
