Hi all,

What are your thoughts on the La Palma situation? I don't know how realistic the tsunami scenario is, but given I'm in FL, I am watching closely.

People have been saying it is fulfilliment of 8:8 Revelation (and a large mountain burning with fire will be cast into the sea...).

The two best people covering it on YT are Dutchsinse and Bushcraft Bear.

This is the Almighty beginning to pour out His wrath on the earth. There's a site called Strange Sounds that collects news stories about disasters all over the world, there seems to a great increase in the frequency of volcanic eruptions lately. It could be argued that this increase is only apparent & is due to modern technology making the reporting of such things possible; 300 years ago a man would likely never know about any volcanic eruption unless he were to see it himself or have news of it related to him by someone who had, a sailor perhaps. But I can't help but think that it is so. Disasters of all kinds are increasing in frequency & severity. In a way it gives one hope that perhaps the accursed abominations that now befoul the face of the earth in so many places will soon have an end put to their verminous existence by God Himself.

What is eerie to me is how no mainstream news site has given this attention. Fear typically sells, so the silence is a bit deafening. It feels like the Gabby Petito thing is distraction from this potentially.

Megatsunami meaning 100+ foot waves. They predict ~30m height waves along eastern seaboard in one scenario.

The Gabby thing is purely about white men = toxic masculinity and/or there's not enough #equality, coverage of "missing people of colour".

Didn't they give a warning for people on the eastern seaboard to be ready for evacuation? I seem to remember reading that, maybe on Twitter. Definitely under the radar though.

No warning, they are saying that there is absolutely no chance of it happening (which is false). Some people are claiming they shut the buoy's off as well because they don't even want to warn people due to the sheer panic it would cause. I don't believe that per se, but I did notice that the most relevant buoy is out of service or at least is not picking up data. It's marked in red.

Is this the next Yangtze Dam break, Brazilian jungle Coronavirus mutation (33 percent kill rate), post 2020 election Civil War or global Cyberpolygon inspired power outage habb'nin?

It is interesting to contemplate about but it's not going to happen.

Things are getting worse, with no end in sight. Very worrisome for the inhabitants, you can see how close the main road is to the lava streams.

As for the megatsunami, slowly but surely people are beginning to lend more credibility to the analysis. Before, they said 0%, impossible. Now they say "very unlikely." Pretty hilarious to be honest to watch these "scientists" just spew out whatever they are told to say.

Were there any real extinction level threat that was fast-approaching, the system would never tell the people. They want the deaths. Also I believe God won't allow it to happen unless He wants it to. Call me archaic, but all these existential and nihilistic talks of solar flares and asteroid impacts and giant waves etc are a bit overblown. Reality is a lot more mediocre than anything we're presented with. Perhaps its another trick of the fallen. Also the elite don't really have a way to capitalize on natural disaster ahead of time, only afterwards (like Katrina with real estate etc) they're probably having teams of paid-(((experts))) figure out a solution to that annoyance right now.

Yeah the only reason they prep us about asteroids is because they may try to simulate that. There's a ton of doomsday stuff out there right now, I just assume they are programming people to believe that we are near the end, so that they can swoop in and "come to the rescue."

As for this tsunami possibility, I guess we'll see. I have my doubts about how bad such a thing would be as well. I also tend to think a lot of extreme weather patterns are parts of geophysical warfare. I believe they have the tech to create earthquakes in specific locations.

Anyone who's a prepper has known about this for a long time. It's probably never going to happen but new preppers love to speculate, freak out, and pretend-play a plan about how they'll perfectly get away.

I say this as someone who prays such a thing will happen and wipe out all of NYC. The thing you should be worrying about which is more likely is the US rapidly sliding into a failed state where you can't get adequate groceries for your children.

Okay, this at least for my attention.

I thought you were in Florida? If this mega-tsunami hits, from what I gather, it would likely be more destructive to us here in FL than New York City. I can't explain it adequately but from some simulations I watched, there was something about the geographical location of Manhattan that shelters it from the worst impacts. New Jersey coast would get totally destroyed, however. I have been trying to determine how bad the impact would be in FL but can't find much. It's so low-lying here that there would be nowhere to escape. Maybe inland you would be ok but if you are along the East Coast you're screwed.

That's what they say. But those plagues have to occur in sequence as per Revelation. Likewise everyone on earth must recognize that God is responsible for it to fulfill prophecy.

The videos above amount to midbrow/lowbrow fear porn, the kind you see all the time on the History Channel.
The chances of a giant tsumami emanating from the Canaries are still very, very small, practically negligible. And even in the very, very unlikely chance that it did occur, the US would have a 7-8hr early warning window. There would be a lot of property damage, but things would go back to normal quickly, with a positive economic spike from repairs and a hit on insurance companies.

In comparison, the chances of a nuclear war occurring this decade are well over 1000 times more likely, and the consequences of that would be hundreds of times more severe on a global scale, but we don't hear much about this, and there isn't much of an anti-war movement like there was in the late Cold War era. Back then, leftists anchored the peace and disarmement movement, while today, leftists are some of the most aggressive warmongers.

This being said, the fear porn from this is relatively marginal, it's not hyped up much in the mainstream media. The main reason for this is that this is a purely natural phenomena, which doesn't fit at all in the human climate catastrophe scenario, which itself is even more unlikely than a massive natural tsunami event...

@ 911.

The volcano is a VEI4 already and on its way to VEI5. Its not creating fearporn because it isn't on anybodys radar doing all sorts of hollywood explosions.

This will affect the next two summers at least.

And if a Tsunami of considerable size hit the Eastern coasts of the USA it wouldn't be just a simple clean up. Look at how Texas dealt with its cold snap, the legacy of Katrina, Sandy and the most recent hurricanes.

It's listed at VEI2 right now, and the fears of a megatsunami are overstated:

The worst tsunamis are generated by plate subduction, where the whole earth section or plate under the ocean suddenly jolts up or down, typically in an erathquake, as opposed to a chunk of land from a volcano suddenly dropping into the ocean.
