I get what you´re saying but all of this bad stuff is so inescepable now, unless you live in the forest somewhere you´re going to come across it even on very little screentime.

The bad stuff may be everywhere now, but it isn't going to last forever. WWIII is going to put an end to a lot of that garbage. There's going to be a lot of suffering in the meantime, but there really is light at the end of the tunnel.

When you see the degeneracy, just remember that that is why the judgment of God is falling on us, but this judgment will clear away the degeneracy for decades. All you can do is ask God to forgive your own sins, and hope for that better, more moral time to come.

And prepare for nuclear fallout. Underground basement or cellar to shelter in, food and water, necessary medications, etc.

I know what you mean… as Christians we are “in” the world but not “of” the world…. but the irony is that we still have to live “in” the world… we suffer this for God and will continue to until we finally meet Him in Heaven.

And, on top of that we are where God has placed us (which is most times where we wouldn’t choose for ourselves…). He knows our strengths and weaknesses. God tells us that he would never give us anything we couldn’t handle.*

Elites don't want major property damage. I think the nuclear war threat is more of a shock and awe/bringing a banana to a gunfight tactic.

Which isn't to say horrible physical things WON'T happen, or some variation of "nuclear war." But WWIII is a psychological operation beyond all current comprehension because the first two were so bloody, and it's been going on for awhile.

I´m with Ah_Tibor on that one. Maybe I´m just too young to take the threat of nuclear war seriously because I associate it with goofy old television programs of kids hiding under tables or something like that.

But don´t any of you ever despair thinking of the thousands of abortions every year? The fact that child abuse is so prevalent? Or just the way people are treated in hospitals and elder care homes? I don´t know, I just hate all the ways human life is often just not valued bothers me so much.

Also, Russia has said that they will use nuclear weapons and that "World War III will be nuclear." I think we should take them seriously. At the very least, America, Russia, and Turkey are going to be nuked. Nuclear fallout can drift quite a ways, which is what most of us will have to worry about.

We are in the beginning stages of WWIII, but it hasn't gotten that bad yet. This is going to be the worst war that has ever been, in the history of mankind. St. Paisios said that everyone will be traumatized afterwards.

But then ... although we will be dealing with the aftermath of the war, things will be much better, from a spiritual standpoint. The people pushing all this degeneracy will be dead. (Elder Joseph of Vatopaidi said this.) People everywhere are going to turn to Christ. Life will never be perfect in this sinful world, but the things that are causing you such despair now will be minimal to non-existent in the relatively near future.

The suffering we are going to have to endure will be worth it. Never forget that - the war, the worldwide famine, everything will be worth it in the end. My children and grandchildren will live in a Christian world without all this evil we see around us today.

Someone I very strongly suspect was behind the coof panic often mentions a study done on babies where if you cover the mouth of white and black infants, they'll fuss and rip it off, whereas East Asian babies will just put up with it.

Based on sheer numbers, you'd think so, wouldn't you? The future is actually going to be Greek. Greece won't take part in the war, but they will benefit massively from it, regaining their lost homelands, including Constantinople, and being ruled by the Marble King after he awakens. Many of the Asians will fight against this king and will be killed. There will be so many of the Asians fighting that it will seem almost impossible to kill them, so the king will pray and God will send fire from Heaven to consume them, like in the Old Testament.

Elder Ephraim of Arizona says that the Antichrist will face strong resistance in America. The material situation will probably not be that great, but we used our material prosperity and comfort to fall into degeneracy and sin, so we'll probably be better off without it.

Yeah, probably. Individualism is double-edged-- we don't be like being told what to do, but we also don't be like being told what to do.

My 3rd gen metropolia self enjoys thinking the Orthodox will be the last ones standing, but nobody "knows" the future. I will continue my stash of beans in the meantime, though.
