Who would’ve thought the woman that caught the fatal uppercut would be named Shi’dea? Shi’dea Lane to be exact. (No comment) She has been identified, the police report has been released, the bus driver, Artis Hughes, 59, has been suspended & she has the fame she’s been hoping for. Luckily for Shi’dea, Artis thought the uppercut was enough justice and declined to press charges on the 25 year old woman.

Hughes won’t face charges and actually had the choice of pressing charges against Shi’dea. Witnesses also said she was a disorderly drunk when coming onto the Regional Transit Authority bus.
...The bus driver, Hughes, who has received praise on his actions in majority, was suspended by the RTA for the time being while an investigation is being processed.
Did this all stem from her not paying a fare? Some people just can’t handle their liquor…
Can we call her a victim? We’ll just call her the reciepient of the uppercut. Police officers took Shi’dea Lane to her workplace after the incident.
Were you wondering how she bounced right back up after that brutal hit? She was shot, not once, but four times at a friends house and stabbed. No wonder she hopped up like a junkie waiting for more.
