I've noticed in the Russian segment of the internet oftentimes Ukraine is being reffered to as " страна 404" or "country 404".

I never bothered to look up what it meant, but today I did. Its in reference to a browser, when you look up some website and get an "HTTP 404 error" - the website you search does not exist.

Proof NATO is simply a proxy for USA military intervention.

Wrong. Your worldview represents the theoretical, moralizing phenomenon known as the media mind, in which people act based on simple pleasures and avoiding inconveniences, completely ignoring the depth of their actual motivations, culture and actual moral convictions.

In reality, Russians subjected to this sort of broad ethnic-based hatred and discrimination are much more likely to think "wow, Putin was right about these people".

I mean, Daniil Medvedev isn't a representative of Russia or a member of a Russian state delegation. He's an ordinary, private person who resides in Monte Carlo and lives in France. He just happens to have been born in Russia, yet that's enough of an excuse for him to be brutalized, mocked, banned from work and, most likely, even have his property seized down the line.

We're talking gross, 18th-century type of racism and discrimination here, only now instead of "dumb Negros" or "weird small-eyed yellow people" it's "evil homophobic Russians".

Be honest. How do you think that treatment will be interpreted by the average Russian? Do you think they're likely to conclude "oh well, if we just get rid of Putin, these people will suddenly become nice to us"?

I don't think so.

Slavs are an incredibly stubborn people (I know cos I have their blood coursing through my stubborn veins). So at least I can be reasonably sure that the last thing Russians would think is that if they stab one of their own in the back that the West will then accept them.

I mean, the biggest trope of Russian art since the 1800s has been that a Russian removed from his homeland (no matter the circumstances) is overcome by existential longing.

It's linked ammo for a machine gun. Note the pattern; first round (red tip) is a tracer, the next 2 are (I believe) armor-piercing, the next 2 armor-piercing incendiary (API). The pattern repeats every 5 rounds. I could be mistaken about the AP/API*, but I'm pretty sure about the tracer.

I saw videos of him driving around territory in conflict in a normal civilian car... By himself.

Worrying stuff, especially as it is reported that those ammunition had been delivered to Kiev by the French through the diplomatic pouch/bag...

Meanwhile the French gov have admitted they're sending heavy modern artillery into Ukraine, in particular Caesar cannons, which will be able to shell Russian lines from 28 miles away.

Also worth considering, regarding France vs Russia, are :

1- the Russian ex-Wagner Group claims to have found proofs that the French Army perpetuated a war-crime massacre in Mali, in a kind of Bucha tit for tat scenario... Meanwhile, twenty French gendarnes from Crime Investigation Units, are currently building a (dummy) case against the Russian Army in Bucha. So, France and Russia are both simultaneously building legal cases for "war crimes" against each other on 2 continents.

2 - a high ranking Turkish politician is (reportedly) saying that France was desperate to organise ("with Greece and Turkey") a 'humanitarian evacuation' out of Mariupol, because there were/are 50 French officers/advisers trapped in/around Azovstal, whom the French failed to exfiltrate in due time.

3- Four extremely valuable masterpiece paintings from the Morozov Collection, have already been impounded/seized by French magistrates, while the rest of this magnificent Russian art collection, is apparently still kept as "hostage" in Paris.
