Local drone attacks, or insider sabotage?
I have the same question. I wonder if the US is doing much of the grunt work on these attacks, with a Ukrainian soldier pulling the trigger, so we can sanitize out of it. Somebody (Going Strong?) mentioned as much about the Moskva missile attack.

Are you familiar with that babushka and the incident involving her harassment by Ukies? This meme takes on a different meaning when you know that hundreds of people like her were massacred for the crime of "collaboration" with the enemy, across Ukraine.

I'm not really fond with the Soviet flag either, or things like the Lenin Mausoleum on Red Square, but I understand that those Soviet elements are vestigial artifacts of their modern cultural history, particularly in their association with WW2. China has a very similar relationship with its communist past and Mao's legacy.

Communist symbolism was in use weeks before the incident you are referring to, hence the latter bears little importance. If it wasn't for 80 year old grandma they'd have found another reason to non-stop put the commie flag in your face - as the Kremlin grandpas have ordered to frame this conflict as a legacy of The Great Patriotic War.

That obviously doesn't make sense from whatever angle you look at it but orders are orders. There were so many options here: war against NATO, war against degeneracy, war of liberation.. But no, they had to start dusting their commie regalia off whilst simultaneously insulting/dehumanizing the Ukrainians by calling them nazis. Therefor the Russian propaganda effort is not only cringeworthy, it is also plain dumb.

The Soviet symbolism/ nazi babble together with the Chechen Muslim horde psy-op (which I explained a couple of days ago) and the downright inflammatory remarks coming from bright Kremlin men about the 'historical non-existence of the Ukraine nation/state' - have assured that now 80-90 percent of the Ukrainians have rallied behind their leadership, with the Ukrainian Armed Forces showing almost suicidal zeal in protecting their country.

Who can blame them when the first thing they see is Lenin getting put back on his pedestal - a man who is responsible for the death of millions of Ukrainians (decommunization policies in the FSU have always been a hot issue with Russia constantly interfering).

So all in all my initial comment was a tad lenient. Instead I should have gone the whole nine yards and call the propaganda cringeworthy and dumb, counter-productive, intellectually lazy etc. etc.

Russian geriatrics need to take a good look at how US does these things. Creating division through exploiting fault lines in society. Elite conditioning. Bribery. Slick information campaign. Amnesty. Etc. The Kremlin skips all of those (not a single high up within the Ukrainian state has turned so far) and instead starts weaponizing entire societies against it through the above described.

Local drone attacks, or insider sabotage?

Drone attacks are indeed likely. I am very interested to learn the model used in this attack.

Once again confirmation that the Russian ADs and radar systems have problems detecting drones.

Kremlin threatening escalation, ie. a declaration of war if the attacks on Russian soil continue.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov (a couple of weeks ago):

“If Ukraine continues its provocations by attacking Russian cities, Russia will be forced to declare war against Ukraine”.

NY Post article, take it with a grain of salt
I suspect there could be some element of truth to the health rumors, just because of Putin’s bloated appearance in recent times.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but are these Lenin statues going up more of a DPR/LPR thing? From his speeches it’s clear Putin really hates Lenin, while having a bit of a soft spot for Stalin.

LPR/DPR looks to attract some old school commies. (Not surprising if they are a coal/steel/heavy industrial region). I do recall videos with them playing the Internationale over loudspeakers back in 2014.

That "Miasto jesz nasze" (the city is ours) slogan is some sort of WEF-sponsored globalist-astroturfed "movement" in which the usual suspects like George Soros and others funnel money to local elections for mayors all over the world in order to steamroll genuine candidates who depend only on personal or local funding. We've just had a mayor from that movement (called "Grad je naš" in Croatian) elected in Zagreb.

1- the Russian ex-Wagner Group claims to have found proofs that the French Army perpetuated a war-crime massacre in Mali, in a kind of Bucha tit for tat scenario... Meanwhile, twenty French gendarnes from Crime Investigation Units, are currently building a (dummy) case against the Russian Army in Bucha. So, France and Russia are both simultaneously building legal cases for "war crimes" against each other on 2 continents.
Speaking of which, the latest media lunacy is that while Ukraine doesn't have any Nazis and is in fact a strongly Jewish country, Russian Wagner Group is full of dangerous, vile Nazis so Russia needs to be urgently stopped

Hysterical low-grade propaganda from the IDF guy who also doubles as a NY Post journalist. I can imagine how triggered he must have been to watch that mass and write "Christ has risen" in his article. You know it's piece of pure trash journalism when his main source is Louise Mensch...

From Jacob Dreizin's blog:

This video was taken in Kharkov province, the Ukraine. The forces in this video are Russian.

What’s going on here? Why are people greeting and even blessing the vodka-soaked invading demon-horde?

Clearly, these people are no longer afraid.

Some hundreds of kilometers to the southeast, a jerk in Kherson (under Russian control) killed blogger Valerii Kuleshov, a former Ukrainian soldier who wrote too favorably of the Russian presence in his city, and may have been trying to start a political career.

Evidently, he was not afraid enough.

This is terrorism, literally.

Top members of Zelensky’s regime stated in March that any local officials who recognize and cooperate with the Russians, are signing their own death warrants.

Well, it’s not just officials who can be a target, it’s anyone.

They have not (yet) killed any Russian soldiers in Kherson, but they sure know how to terrorize their neighbors.

However, Russia has huge experience with cleaning up “undergrounds” in the Caucasus. They can probably deal with it in the Ukraine.

Over the last week, close to 100 of the Ukraine’s “stay behind” personnel have been rounded up in Kherson and Zaporozhia, and huge quantities of arms seized.

I won’t bore you with the videos, but it’s crazy how much weaponry the Ukraine Security Service left behind for a partisan war, which did not get off the ground.

Nonetheless, there are those who are prepared to kill anyone who cooperates or speaks favorably of the Russian presence.

Sooner or later, they will all be cleaned up. As I have mentioned, these parts are going back to Russia.
