Actually the bottom line is that no country is as strict and bigoted at the same time about under-age sex as the US. The one think I like about Atlanta and several other southern States is they lowered the age of consent to 16 which is somewhat reasonable. At least if a girl is driving and lies and says she is 18, she has a drivers licence and insurance so you are not facing prison, just angry parents.
