My father works in the medical field and this recording is tame compared to the stories he's told me.

It wasn't that uncommon for surgeons to operate while intoxicated several decades ago and take funny pictures with incapacitated patients.

Apparently it's not unheard of yet today. An anesthesiologist I know told me that if they get caught short they huff oxygen to get straight.
