I wonder if I'll bet on Le Pen like I did with Trump. Last election they got some huge wins but got fucked by the system. If a new islamic attack happen in France, I'm going all in.

I think ISIS is thinking different after Trump won, they may talk about how happy they are with Trump winning and use it as recruitment propaganda, but the reality is different, they know Russia Putin and USA Trump combined will be purging ISIS, many wannabe Jihadists will think twice about joining ISIS.

We are still months away from France election, and anything could happen, I was thinking something would happen during Bataclan massacre anniversary, but is too close to Trump winning election, is too risky for them to attack so soon.

lol Mikado, you could be right....

But then again, it was, "The end of Donald's campaign" last July.

Don't you ever learn. It's the current year. She will probably win with over 50%

True, this is a year where everything could happen, but the French is a difficult proposition. Many people who voted for Trump did not like him, but had enough of the left and immigrants etc. In France, those kinds of people would vote, but a white blank vote to "show their discontent".

That and many French right wingers have this deep "moral superiority". Whereas most American liberals virtue signal in order to overcompensate or to fill a void inside their worthless selves, many French believe deeply that race/religion has nothing to do with it and that they can do better than Le Pen. Dilusional if you ask me, but these are the kinds of people who say immigrants are bad, France should get out of EU, and still they wouldnt vote Le Pen. Sentiment-wise I think French feel the same shit as do Trump voters, but vote-wise it is very hard to predict.

There's a growing anti Europe sentiment going on however and this is the best card Le Pen has to play, but its harder in France. French people have been depending on their government for everything for much much longer than Americans. Everything is subsidized from healthcare to education, and most people think the government are good, or at least a necessary evil. It is much harder to fan an anti-establishment flame here.

We'll see how this plays out.

ISIS In Mosul: The experienced and battle-hardened veterans of ISIS fled to Raqqa and elsewhere in Syria and to turkey leaving only the sheep ISIS to be slaughtered.

This opportunity for them to flee was given by Western & Turkish culpability in those two countries.

Russia and the US will never be side-by-side allies like NATO/US forces are but they can both do simultaneous campaigns. It'll be like sending dogs down a rabbit hole, forcing the rabbits out elsewhere which the other side will happily be camping out.

With Marine Le Pen and France we have one problem. How many alt-right members know fluent French and understand the French psyche enough to get her in?

Its easy to fight a meme war in English but French? If you start bombarding the French in English they will tell you to fuck off.

It depends who Le Pen get's in the final round against.

Who is the favorite?

If it's some young guy that doesn't bode well for her, but if it's like Sarkozy or some old guy, she has a chance.

From my experience with French people, her supporters are more "shy" than American Trump supporters.

They act P.C. in front of everybody and unless they really trust you, they won't admit to voting Le Pen.

Also, French value playing the social game best and so, I think many will straight up not admit they are going to vote for her.

Remember Front National got over 40% in the last elections (weren't Presidential elections, but still) and the migrants only keep annoying people.

We will see. I wouldn't count her out yet.

Far-right leader Marine Le Pen could WIN France's presidential elections due to the rise of populist politics and the success of Trump, admits country's prime minister

To respond to the 'anger' that led to the British decision to quit the EU and Trump's election win, Valls pleaded for a new approach to globalisation.

New approach to globalism, now the impossible is becoming possible they are thinking a new way for globalism, sound like a new form of propaganda for globalism.

France has Generation Identaire who are actual cool nationalistic right wingers. They should be the template for all European resistance movements. If anything, just making fundraisers for them would help a lot. They are very good at propaganda.

I'm not familiar with Europe's elections and polls. But this poll about France's political parties was tweeted out:
Europe Elects ‏@EuropeElects

France, Ipsos poll:

Le Pen (FN-ENF): 29%
Sarkozy (LR-EPP): 21%
Mélenchon (FG-LEFT) 14%
Valls (PS-S&D): 14%... http://fb.me/5CWWuMu2E

2:45 AM - 20 Nov 2016

In France presidential politics, there are two rounds of voting. The first round has all the contenders; assuming none got at least 50% of the vote, the 2nd round is the top two contenders only.

The problem is if the final two are "The Republicans" (the LR-EPP above, though Sarkozy was eliminated from contention) and Le Pen, all the socialists unite in lockstep to vote against her because she's such a mean bad person. This exact scenario happened in the 2015 French regional elections which had a similar "two round" voting system, Front National has a big showing in the first round, and the socialists literally pulled their candidates and implored their voters to vote for the Republicans. Absolutely disgusting.

The best case scenario would be if the Republican candidate (again, not Sarkozy since he's been eliminated from contention) finished 3rd place and the final 2 was Le Pen vs. either the Left Party or the Socialist party. Because while the Socialists are willing to go all-in on Front National from winning, I want to believe there is a good chunk of Republican voters that would go for Front National.

Considering the Left and Socialists add up to 28% in the cited poll, if one could sap support for the other and whoever lead the Republicans instead of Sarkozy hits a scandal or some negative media attention, maybe they can catch up to second place...

This new Economist cover is occult as fuck. Tarot cards

Either way look at the Wheel of Fortune election card. Why is Merkel getting hit by lightning on the way down and LePen has an upward trajectory towards the rising sun. Is that Wilders at the bottom? Look at the Tower one -- is that supposed to represent the fall of the West via some hybrid Catholic-Communist revolution? The door looks like Martin Luther's 95 theses (Protestantism)

Rothschild family just openly fucking with us!

Edit, not sure what thread this fits in. Basically each card could fit into one of the different threads in Politics! I'll leave it here since I find the 2017 European Election wheel of fortune card the most puzzling. What are they trying to say?

First I didn't think any of it, but looking closer at the Tower one gave me the hibbies. Lets talk about the cards.

There seem to be 2 different groups, communists and christians on the Tower one. Doesn't really make sense that much, but I dont think its the literal meaning. In my opinion the communists ones are the globalist and cultural marxists while the christians are the traditionalist conservatives.

But what does the Tower card mean in Tarot in general? It seems there are multiple explanations.

This is one I found (https://www.biddytarot.com/tarot-card-meanings/major-arcana/tower/). Highlighting done by me.

Tower Tarot Card Meanings and Description

The Tower shows a tall tower pitched atop a craggy mountain. Lightning strikes and flames burst from the building’s windows. People are seen to be leaping from the tower in desperation, wanting to flee such destruction and turmoil. The Tower signifies darkness and destruction on a physical scale, as opposed to a spiritual scale. The Tower itself represents ambitions built on false premises. The lightning bolt breaks down existing forms in order to make room for new ones. It represents a sudden, momentary glimpse of truth, a flash of inspiration that breaks down structures of ignorance and false reasoning. Notice the lightning bolt is oriented left to right (from the perspective of the card), from heaven to earth, and from Spirit to material. The falling figures correspond to the chained prisoners in the Devil card. They fall headfirst, because the sudden influx of spiritual consciousness represented by the lightning flash completely upsets all our old notions about the relations between subconsciousness and self-consciousness. The flames are actually the Hebrew yods. There are 22 flames, representing the 22 Major Arcana. The gray clouds are the clouds of misfortune that rain on everyone indiscriminately. The ruling planet of this card is Mars.

So lets recap:

- There isn't an orientation of the lighting, so it seems there is no intended meaning
- There are 10 flames, not 22. No idea what it means or if it even has an intended meaning.
- Gray clouds above everyone. This means both groups are being played in a hegelian dialectic way against each other. Soros modus operandi, anyone? Of course this is highly speculative.
- The tower itself. Yeah, Trump Tower is eerily fitting the theme.

The Wheel of Fortune card seems to be literal.

being at a turning point
reversing
moving in a different direction
turning things around
having a change in fortune
altering the present course
being surprised at a turn of events
http://www.learntarot.com/maj10.htm

The death one doesn't seem to be literal, but interesting nonetheless:

ending
closing one door to open another
bringing something to a close
completing a chapter
concluding unfinished business
putting the past behind you
having a parting of the ways

going through transition
changing status
moving from the known to the unknown
being cast adrift
waiting in an in-between state
being in the middle

eliminating excess
cutting out what isn't necessary
shedding old attitudes
getting down to bare bones
concentrating on essentials
getting back to basics

experiencing inexorable forces
being in the path of sweeping change
being caught in the inescapable
going through what cannot be avoided
being part of a powerful movement
riding your fate
accepting the inevitable

Putting the past behind you = reconciliation with Russia?

The Hermit one is interesting as well:

being introspective
thinking things over
focusing inward
concentrating less on the senses
quieting yourself
looking for answers within
needing to understand

searching
seeking greater understanding
looking for something
wanting the truth at all costs
going on a personal quest
needing more
desiring a new direction

receiving/giving guidance
going to/being a mentor
accepting/offering wise counsel
learning from/being a guru
turning to/being a trusted teacher
being helped/helping

seeking solitude
needing to be alone
desiring stillness
withdrawing from the world
experiencing seclusion
giving up distractions
retreating into a private world

Together with the globe and TTIP the Hermit seems to portray a rise of Independence, Isoliationism and Nationalism.

So thats basically it. Its not like I have a really idea about Tarot except a quick Google Search. Hope I didnt break the two-fifty rule by doing that.

For all we know it could be only a cool Cover Design idea, which it frankly is. But the Tower one really weirds me out, regardless and I trust my gut feeling.
