The only reason why this is being pushed so hard is that a shooting taking place at a video game tournament is unexpected. Where as shootings in Chicago, Detroit, and Baltimore are expected so they don't carry the same shock value. Remember that the media, government officials, and the International bankers are working on establishing a "One World Government". A disarmed population will certainly help them achieve that goal, the Second Amendment was established mostly to protect people from their government or at least have the ability to fight their government. There is no coincidence that the first thing these idiot liberals in the media and the sell out politicians call for are stricter gun control laws because in reality they want guns to be completely banned. I'd be interested to see where you read that part about pro shooters and those drugs. If they're taking beta blockers, they probably had a heart attack or are managing high blood pressure. Not seeing any competitive advantage to how those drugs operate. And yeah, in some ways I could see how adderall, ritalin and similar drugs could work for some people by intensifying their concentration.

The ones who go off the rails and shoot people are almost always on some kind of SSRI drug (Selective Seratonin Reuptake Inhibitor) like Prozac, Paxil, etc., not just a mere stimulant. There's all kinds of sings pointing to this but nobody does shit about it except blame guns.

Except for beta blockers which have been detected at Olympic shooting events, it was a speculative guess on my part. Where there is competition and big money at stake, people will look for any edge.

I probably was influenced by the movie & spin off TV show Limitless and an old stand up bit from the early 90s about "Thinkoids". I can't remember the comedian.

This is true, but to be fair, if the first thing you do to every person that is having mental problems is give them an SSRI, then 100% of your mental cases that act out are going to be on SSRIs by default.
