MDs do great work there, but massive hugely important fields are insanely manipulated so much so that Dr. Koch would turn in his grave even at the 120-year-old level that medicine found itself back then. Psychiatry is the least certain of all sciences - you literally know jack-shit about the reason of why people lash out like this instance. Oh - we know for example that many SSRIs are actually causing those things which explains why some countries like Finland have chosen a highly different mostly non-medicated therapeutic route. Many other nations could learn from them, but then the pharma lobby would lose tens of billions in revenue and the politicians might not have so many opportunities to tell you that you should surrender all your guns.</blockquote>
