The video didn't embed properly. It worked fine on the desktop app, my apologies.I hate Telegram. It is a garbage platform.
I wanted to see this video, which only shows as a blur in the post, so I downloaded the Telegram app. This stinks. I hate companies like Telegram and Reddit always trying to get me to view their webpage on their app. It usually doesn't even work that well in the app. They can perfectly well make it work in the webpage, but they're trying to run some kind of grift to harvest extra marketing information from their users to sell.
So, even after I downloaded and installed the app, it put up one of those scantron thingies, to scan from my phone and link every bit of personal data from my PC with every bit of personal data on my phone, so their marketing weenies can harvest more information about me to sell.
No thanks. I'll just do without seeing the content.
No offense to Mrredsquare and others that post Telegram stuff. I'll watch the links that are viewable in the browser. Just not the ones that show a blurred image in the browser.
I find about half of telegram posts on RVF show with a blurred image. They used to say too big to view in browser, please view in app, but I figure they just blur it now.The video didn't embed properly. It worked fine on the desktop app, my apologies.
You can't be a true conspiracy theorist without telegram.I find about half of telegram posts on RVF show with a blurred image. They used to say too big to view in browser, please view in app, but I figure they just blur it now.
It's not too big to view in a browser for technical reasons. They just restrict it to try to force people to give up their personal information.
I know they need some kind of revenue model, but I don't like the "force users to our app" strategy.
I'm just being an internet crank. There are about 15 popular image, video, and messaging apps, plus probably 1000 nobody has heard of. It could all be done purely with a browser, but they want to push you to a different app.
This I don’t understand. Oprah and rock are private individuals, not required to give anyone anything, they wanted to help and are matching donations to the affected Hawaiians up to 10million dollars. That is helping, assuming that the affected Hawaiians actually get some of that money.
No one with any critical thinking skills trusts the false idol celebrities anymore. They are full of false bravado and "fake concern" for the victims of the disaster. This I don’t understand. Oprah and rock are private individuals, not required to give anyone anything, they wanted to help and are matching donations to the affected Hawaiians up to 10million dollars. That is helping, assuming that the affected Hawaiians actually get some of that money.
The real story would seem to be, none of this matters if their society remains closed? All businesses and schools in the area are closed indefinitely? Like covid? No storefront can remained closed/shut down indefinitely and continue to function
Is that the plan? Make Lahaina unlivable so the residents are forced out/forced to sell? I’m both puzzled and disgusted by the aftermath in Maui
We need to go back to the telegraph days.I hate Telegram. It is a garbage platform.
These questions are currently unanswerable with no coverage and multiple narratives being thrown around.Oh of course celebrities are compromised .
But I mostly have questions ? Is the cleanup and rebuilding effort being actively blocked by us military checkpoints? The fire has been out for a month, none of the debris is cleared? People /residents/home owners are being blocked from returning to their homes to get items from their safes or rebuild? Businesses and schools are being blocked from reopening? What exactly is going on currently in Maui?
.@JoeRogan and @TulsiGabbard discuss the devastating Lahaina fire, the government blocking food and supplies, predatory investors swooping in to buy up homes, and the stark contrast between $700 sent to Lahaina households and the billions sent to Ukraine.
"What I heard over and over again was no one from the county, state, or the federal government has shown their face in our community. It's neighbors helping neighbors. Families helping families.
People on the island of Moloka‘i... are loading up whatever they have in their general store on these little boats and running them to a private boat dock on West Maui because that's the only place they wouldn't be blocked from bringing food, water, and medical supplies...
I don't have a good answer as to why they continued to block the roads. Why they blocked Kai Lenny and others from using their boats and jet skis to bring supplies in through the water. You can say that they were trying to secure the area, but you're blocking friends and families from bringing necessary supplies in...
Why aren't you communicating with the people? The results of their decisions left people, families, and communities stranded in their most dire time of need, and the mayor didn't show his face until almost two weeks after the fire happened.
@JoeRogan: How is it possible that these people could lose their homes and then lose their land?
