The only one to blame here is Disney. The fact that people are blaming the parents or anyone else is quite ridiculous.

There are no humans to blame here at all. The lake is not some type of gator pit, its a lake in Florida.

Gators roam around. If a snake had crawled into the resort, should there have been signs warning against that? What if a plane on the way to Disney world fell from the sky , but hey no sign?

I think this story is a troll job by the media to take away from the shooting.

Aloha!

You make it sound like the "entity" that is Disney represents "humans" - I beg to differ. People made a mistake building a resort here. They should have done their homework and due diligence. They are to blame. They should be sued. They (the organization) will pay damages. The price is paid, lessons learned. Funerals had. The world goes on. The end.

I really don't get why we spend more than 15 seconds on articles like these. It's a tragedy. Pay your respects and move on people.

All aside, I don't think it's a troll job. The death likely occurred, and the media, as usual, is capitalizing on it. My point stands.

I respectfully disagree.

The resort has been around for thirty years. If gator attacks were a common occurrence, then there should be something done. This appears to be the first. To say they made a mistake building the resort there is to say that no resorts should exist anywhere in Florida, because of gators.

Florida has panthers. Let's say a panther roams in and eats the child. Should Disney be sued for not having a fence around the whole place? How about if a mosquito bites him and he dies of zika? Do they need to put a mesh dome over the entire place?

I do agree that this is a tragedy and hate that it happened. The goofball hysteria over everything surrounding it makes it worse.

I still believe this would not have been a story at all had there been no shooting.

Aloha!

I may (was) have been a bit drunk when I responded the last time.

I agree with you.

So Americans just let a bunch of large lizards sit around and get fat off poor little kids who want to splash around?

I think El mech and Ali B need to do a Florida tour. Preferably with some .50 rounds.

I remember a few weeks ago when it was a black kid that was almost beaten to death by a gorilla, some of you guys were blaming the mother and had no pity for the child, now this feminist is saying almost the same thing some of you guys said.

False equivalency. First of all, letting your kid stand at the edge of a lake isn't quite the same as letting your kid climb into a zoo exhibit.

Secondly, this feminist shows a complete lack of objectivity by blaming it on "white men's entitlement," especially considering that the kid was with both his parents at the time, and the dad actually jumped into the lake in an attempt to rescue him. I didn't read through the gorilla thread, but I assume nobody was using retarded phrases like "black woman's entitlement" when criticizing that child's mom.
