of getting the vax via a religious exemption: https://www.milobookclub.com/2021/08/12/religious-exemption-for-military-vaccines/
Saw the early stages of this in a TRADOC/TECOM environment with newly commissioned lts and entry level enlisted at MOS school.Honestly best case scenario. Straight Christian men do not need to be in the military any longer. Even in the past two years I have seen insane changes to the military. Even deployed there was "pride month" celebrations, they were willing to threaten our safety and celebrate in countries that hated sodomy rather than offend homosexuals.
More recently we were even asked to volunteer at "drag queen story time" on base, followed by a drag show at the base bar. All while selling rainbow patches to put on our uniforms. This all happened after we were briefed on extremism, generally stating that Christianity, more specifically, Catholicism was too extreme. I was even told by leadership that having a Bible on my desk was offensive because someone might be muslim. Then they banned St. Michael because "he too closely resembles the cops with George Floyd."
This is the final straw. The military is allowing women more freedom, transgenders to have free surgeries and medication, and homosexuals to get away with anything. At the same time telling any straight Christian man that he is an extremist.
Thankfully right now we can get a religious exemption and even if that means we have to get out of the military when our enlistment is up (or earlier) it's better than a dishonorable discharge with absolutely no benefits or job opportunities. I say take the religious exemption, let leadership and medical be mad at you, and get out as soon as possible before they don't care about religion anymore. The military is on a downward spiral and it's moving fast. If they want to focus more on diversity and equality go right ahead. They will be missing straight Christian men soon enough when it all falls apart.
Hopefully by that time we will all be out homesteading with our Christian families and we won't care how the military is doing. We will be thankful for the years we were able to serve, the job experience, the benefits, and we won't look back.

One other suggestion: if you still want to do military stuff there’s plenty of ways to do it private sector…and let’s just say demand is very good and only going to get better.
Or law enforcement, but yes. However my comment was following on to what the other had said regarding people being afraid to get out.Don't those jobs typically require military experience though?
