He probably married her because he was too into the fame thing (he was a hot movie actor, she was a hot tv actor on an incredibly popular show), and realized it was just empty. I think he really wanted to be a dad, and Jen was trying to do that for him yet. As crazy as Angie is, she's far more interesting (she's a pilot, is interested in more than just being a famous actress), so that was probably a better move for him. And remember...neither finds it necessary to marry. They just do their own thing.</blockquote>
