No, I'm not a troll, I just get tired of seeing terms from the ethological sciences like "alpha" and "beta" being used completely out of context with their original meaning. I feel that this hierarchy is not only false, but damaging. Men are at war with the feminist army, and they’re losing, in part, because they also have dissention in their own ranks. We constantly demean each other with this “alpha-beta” scale, elevating some guys above others simply because they are able to get laid more often.
:boring:

The above is an obvious imposter who uses lots of quotes and P.C. words like "demean" and "dissension" and obviously doesnt understand the concept of self improvement.

Feminist troll spotted.

Men do not use the word 'tired' when describing how they FELT when reading something.

Newsflash: there is a hierarchy and that's the way it is. Would you rather level everyone like *cough cough* a Socialist, so everyone can feel happy and talk about puppies, rainbows and unicorns?

Secondly, you said men are losing to the feminists. Says who?

Go change your tampon before you get banned.

Yes, i know humans have hierarchies, i acknowledged that in my first post. Even a "socialist" society would have hierarchies. What I'm saying is that this Alpha/Beta/Omega hierarchy belongs to the Ethological field. It only causes confusion when it is applied metaphorically to describe human social relations.

Gladiator the whole point is that no guys are better than other guys because game can enable a guy to from beta to alpha.. And we use these terms because they are the way that women see us.

A woman will see you as one or the other. If you want to get laid, then she had to see you as alpha.

It's not a value judgement on our part.. In fact it seems as if the whole point if the redpill thing is to get some power back the betas, be cause we believe that you need them to keep society going, and they have a reason for why they work so hard.

And it isn't out of context.. In the animal world, the alpha gets dibbs on reproduction. Just look at Pyris the bear who was so alpha that they decided that he should be castrated.

In the animal world, the 'alpha' essentially bullies everyone else into submission, both through his own ferocity and through making alliances with other males (the betas, and so on). The Alpha does not owe his reproductive success to any kind of 'seduction' of the females.

Look at the first line: 'hold very dear'. The only person I've ever heard say that outside of a novel written after 1930 was my Scottish Grandmother.

If he's a woman, the need for tampons are long gone.

But to imply that those who cannot get laid a lot, for whatever reason, are betas, is saying that they are somehow a second-rate man. That’s false and derogatory.

"Debating feminists & women on the topic of Alpha/Beta is rather like trying to play chess with a pigeon; it knocks the pieces over, craps on the board, and flies back to its flock to claim victory."

BTW - sounds and talks like a woman.

And @Gladiator-woman - don't you get it? The manosphere has taken the previous terms used in zoology and just redefined it for human interactions, since it exemplifies the principle so well. Inventing some completely new words - Alphontas, Bephontas, Omegaphontas - would have served the purpose too, but who cares, since we are of course not lions, chipmunks, wolfs or even gorillas, so the terms are not going to be transferred 1:1 from lions to humans under any circumstance. In my experience the only instances where the term Alpha was used in connection with wolves was with feminist drivel. They talk about the pack and how an Alpha does this or that in their opinion. Stupid crap!

Bro, those assertions they made about wolf behavior were incorrect as hell too. I did brief research on their hunting mechanism and stumbled across enough of their hierarchical structure to know that those women either made it up on the spot or stole it from an equally false thesis

I have made a fairly well reasoned critique of the alpha/beta/omega hierarchy, which I believe to be seriously misguided. How this makes me a woman or a "feminist" I do not know. It seems people here are just that strongly attached to their dogma. I don't even know why I'm wasting my time here, I guess I just got bored...

And actually, the alpha/beta hierarchy among wolves was later found out to be a misapplication, derived from studying a bunch of unrelated wolves in captivity, ie an artificial environment. In the wild, wolves actually live in 'nuclear' families. The 'alpha male' is simply the father. The other wolves treat him with respect and deference because he is the one who raised them.

It appears that I was wrong

Exactly - got bored. Pray for puahate to open their putrid portals once again. But I guess that ship has sailed as all the rats have scurried away since some light has entered their filthy den of darkness. Too bad it was the light of police sirens this time, but still... better luck at manboobs, where you can commiserate on how wrong those terms are, how fake Game is. There you can discuss at length the exact geometrical degree you have to raze your angular bone to increase your chances with women. That is way more scientific.

Had to share that pic, though it's a bit unrelated to the troll-topic here.

Sad, because he's the only one in that pic with an actual alpha pose. None of the girls are particularly attractive though.
