IF (a big if) he did what he was accused of, he shouldn't have been so naive when dealing with a totalitarian government. If she's making the point that Americans are ignorant about oppression in other societies, including North Korea, that is undeniable. If his parents and his culture led him to believe that the world is unicorns and rainbows, then that's partially on them. That's a charitable reading of her post, I know, given her rant about 'young, white, rich, clueless white males' and rape. (She apparently included 'white' twice in this list.)</p></blockquote><p></p>
