I just watched the interview between Cernovich and Torba. Started out ok, but once he started talking about registries and ICANN it became embarrassingly retarded - he knows nothing. He should have done a modicum of research before going public with this nonsense.

If he really knows the score and still repeats the falsehoods he's claiming just for a good story, that's even worse. People like this make the entire dissent look like tin foil hat wearing kooks.

Kind of both though. How many businesses are really going to risk advertising on a site with no/minimal filter and full of trolls? Even your average small conservative christian business isn't going to want their name associated with this.

Gab was successfully able to transfer their domain out from Godaddy to Uniregistrar before GoDaddy could steal it.

I looked into Twitter-like blockchain/crypto developments and found a few including Memo.Cash which is built onto of the existing Bitcoin Cash blockchain. All of them have very tiny users bases.

If I don't find something promising I'm thinking about throwing together a new blockchain that is like Twitter/Gab.

I get lots of errors. When Gab does load, I can't post or reply to anything. Looks like Gab has a lot of bugs to work out.

Working for me now, but really slow. The port to a new hosting provider must still be in progress.
