They've had announcements for employees to do an hourly temperature check of the refrigerator and freezer sections for decades. They make it an announcement over the louderspeaker so the customers can hear how dedicated they are to food safety. They can't afford for a refrigeration system to fail, and have customers take home improperly cooled food and get sick from it, so they do hourly checks.

I don't think what you heard was them doing hourly checks of employees for a fever.

Ah, forgive me for being quick to trigger. I saw the hand sanitation station dusted and out front again, so I was prematurely assuming the worst. Thanks brother.

Can confirm, however, that the jogger anecdote was legit.
 
I'll only (pretend to) lockdown again if another bunch of C-list celebrities all altogether sing an awful and out of tune cover version of the official baby boomer national anthem song called "Imagine." The John Lennon original is bad enough, but they took it to a whole new level of awful.

Remember when they did that in the very first week when covid started in 2020 ?

Sadly, if I wasn't familiar with hearing these announcements, it would be entirely believable they would do over the top covid detection measures.

That probably just varies from one anecdotal experience to the other. I'm a new guy here, I spend time on Youtube and Facebook, and I don't have Twitter at all. People around me no longer walk around wearing masks, except for the occasional squeamish karen and her toddler(s). There seems to be an open secret that the entire Covid mandates were a bunch of cow dung, and that there's an unwritten rule to not talk about this accursed scam-demic.

It's not like the Fed and the Treasury can acquire new banknotes without some cost being transferred to the people. Part of why Trump is resurging is people having enough of soaring commodity prices (although inflation was also caused by other factors like the supply chain being deliberately sabotaged and the Ukraine sanctions). Even the most anti-Trump or pro-Democrat normies would get fed up with even eggs costing $4 a dozen.

This is a good sentiment overall, but likely won't apply if you're working for a corporation rather than running your own business. I'm 100% remote and my company was still seriously considering forcing us to get vaxxed. Fortunately they relented at the last moment and I managed to stay unvaxxed without losing my job. Even so, to this day when I log in to our HR site and look at my profile there's a "Vaccination Status" tab. It's empty for now, but it's troubling that it's even there.

Then again, even if you are running your own business, I could see a scenario where they demand proof of vaccination for continued access to banking services. You have to remember that vaccination has nothing to do with protecting anyone from anything, the goal is injecting the maximum number of people with whatever they want.

I am having a hard time believing that majority of the people support the mask mandates. I also don't believe that the majority of the people were in support of covid vaccination. And I say that as someone who works for the most liberal company in the most liberal city.

Most people will follow the majority, no matter where it goes. That is why it is called the majority. Because of that, Intelligence only needs to manufacture the majority opinion. In other words, the majority of people don't even need to believe something, they only need to be told that a majority believe it. That is enough to stop them from acting on their own beliefs or suspicions. The government doesn't poll the public to discover a majority opinion, at least not on important topics. The government just creates a majority opinion and publishes it. Most people then believe it—or at least believe it is the majority opinion—simply because they saw it published. Even if they don't share the opinion, they believe they are in a minority, and therefore powerless.

You see, in this way, the governors can cleverly stop majorities. To stop a majority, all you have to do is prevent it from realizing it is a majority. In a so-called democracy, this is enough to stall it, since people have been taught from childhood to bow to greater numbers. If you get outvoted, you are supposed to back down. So the governors simply tell a majority it is a minority, and it immediately loses steam.

For example, I think a majority of real people now believe 911 was manufactured in some way, but even when the mainstream reports on this “conspiracy theory,” they report that some minority of kooks believes it. The word “kook,” with any number under 50% is enough to stall most people. Most people won't even think of getting off the couch until the number hits 51%, and even if 100% of everyone they have ever talked to indicates they believe it, they will still be stalled if the media tells them they are in a minority. They will believe the media over their own eyes and ears.

It's why so many can't be reasoned with, Pride is the worst of all sins because all other sins come from it and Humility the greatest of virtues because all other virtues come from it. Well, @Kiwi was responding to a NZ Rugby show were the first few minutes the presenters were all carrying on like clowns literally saying, "hey everybody! let's get vaccinated!"

What bothers me is a little exchange I saw the other day. I was watching New Zealand rugby show the other day and a pundit called Bryn Hall appeared on the show. He's a current player who used to play for champions Canterbury crusaders and quite a thoughtful commentator.
So he appears and tells us his 'news'?
Well he was due to do all the fitness testing at his new club but - paraphrasing - "guess what guys?? ...I got covid instead!"
Immediately the response from jewish host Ross Karl (who knows nothing about rugby but of course gets to front a rugby show) is.. "You Lucky Thing!!"
Bryn Hall:" Yay! I get to miss out on all that icky Fitness Testing!"
Presenters: "Oh! how we envy you!"
Bryn Hall sitting there hale and hearty and completely symptomless: "Yay!! I got to take the day off at home!"
Ross Karl: "I bet you cheated! I bet you TRIED to get Covid!"
Bryn Hall: "No, no, Im just lucky I guess.."
Other Presenter: "Oh come on now, Bryn wouldn't need to miss fitness testing..!"

THIS is what we shut down the world for? A virus that is supposedly detected by fake testing devices? A virus that you can't even tell anyone has? But which is your golden ticket to a bit of time off work? A kind of Willy Wonka lottery ticket that you are lucky to get you little prole?

Its utterly surreal to me.
And at the same time their seeding in these little exchanges is a sign that they are testing the Psy-Op again.
