New York lawyer Aaron Schlossberg has been filmed ranting at Spanish-speakers at a store near his offices in Manhattan.

His identity has been uncovered and his Yelp and Google page have been inundated with one-star reviews.

He has also been seen at Trump rallies arguing with Leftists. Of course this is how the media will be framing this: racist Trump supporters emboldened by his win now commit hate crimes openly and without shame.

This man is absolutely correct---the staff should be speaking English and businesses should not be hiring illegals.

He is, also, a massive attention whore and a blithering idiot. The proper thing to do would have been to just go home, call ICE and let the authorities sort it out. No muss, no fuss. Instead, he threw a public temper tantrum replete with all faux-irateness of his most theatrical fag-voice. Now his livelihood is being destroyed on Yelp and he's being savaged on social media. I'm guessing if he has a family/children, life is going to become difficult for them as well. All because he wanted some drama.

I think he's right about all of us speaking English in the work place - its the common language that binds Americans together as one.

If the employees were speaking Spanish to customers who also spoke only or preferred to speak in Spanish, then I don't see the issue. Just because someone's speaking a foreign language doesn't automatically mean that they an illegal alien(fuck the PC term "undocumented migrant"). On the other hand, he's entitled to his own opinion.

This guy's firm and reputation will suffer, then the public will forget about it. Nothing to see here.

If the owners of the business want to speak Swahili it’s a private place of business, it’s their business model. He’s wrong on so many levels it’s absurd. And to the previous poster i speak both English and Spanish natively without an accent in either.

His building's management says he's no longer welcome on the premises, his blond associate has been removed from his website including being cropped out of the pictures, and it seems that the New York State Bar Association is telling the media and also putting it on social media that Schlossberg is lying on his website claiming to be a member.

Huh.



Generally, if your credentials don't check out, you try not to draw attention to yourself. I'm wondering if this isn't a hypomanic episode.

Folks, just keep in mind that to avoid all of this, all he had to do was:

1) leave the restuarant
2) call ICE from the privacy of his own home
3) crack open a beer and swell with pride at having done his bit part to make this country speak English again

Schlossberg, carrying a briefcase and wearing a black ski cap and a suit and tie, used his open umbrella to hide his face and appeared to shoot cellphone video of the gathered media outside his West 60th Street building.

“Please send help,” Schlossberg was then heard saying into his cellphone. “They’re claiming things that aren’t true … grabbing me, not letting me walk.”

“They won’t let me move. They’re surrounding me,” Schlossberg said on the call before hopping into a yellow cab on West 60th Street near Tenth Avenue.
