Call me "worldly," but I guess I just don't get offended by people speaking a foreign language.
I lived in Miami for years and I could go weeks without speaking a single word of English. No one had a problem with it--I'm white; I learned Spanish. As a matter of fact, if you did use English, some people would chastise you for it. Maybe it's me being crazy, but I just don't see countries and languages as having a lot to do with the same thing. You go to China-town, you'll prolly hear Chinese. In Little Italy, you may hear some Italian.
I can't see a problem with it. If you don't speak the language, they're likely not talking to you anyway, so who cares?
I'm red blooded American as they come, but that doesn't mean I don't speak different languages. It just seems that it's ignorant people making a fucking scene over absurdities. You don't like it that you can't understand a foreign language, learn the language. From the video it seems that the employees were talking amongst themselves and not addressing the (((idiot))) anyways, what the fuck does he care what language was being spoken?
