Another year where mediocrity is only a pipe dream for my Raiders. They have actually regressed from their first rebuilding year. I just keep repeating to myself that something good has to come from the $80 million in cap space next year.

Week 1 is in the books.

Colts look like regression candidates, Luck's playmaking keeps bailing them out.

Niners did what they wanted basically on offense, Packers were keyed in on the run and R/O but Kaep just stood in the pocket all day and air mailed it to Boldin. How much of Flacco's new contract should go to him?

MNF, what an exciting game! Chip Kelley might have had a cushier position back in Eugene but I love the way his Philadelphia Ducks look. Definitely the most entertaining half I've seen in a while and I have no special rooting interest in either team. RGIII looks pretty slow and ordinary for most of the game.

Btw - thank you Chargers for that Turner-esque chokejob, we needed to bring SD fans back down to where they usually belong.

Indianapolis and Minnesota overachieved last season - they are both going to have significant regressions.

Washington will also regress.

Carolina and St Louis could be deep sleepers...both teams have nasty front sevens and Carolina obviously has Cam.

I am still sticking with Chicago winning the division. Defense looks as good as always and, hopefully, the offense continues to develop.

Well the Jets/Pats was a lot closer a game then I thought it would be. Tom Brady does not have the same kind of talent to throw the ball to this year. He still gets to throw it to Gisele tho... can't knock him for that.

Geno looked great till he started forcing throws in the 4th. If the Jets defense can play at the level they have played at so far, shutting down the run game, defending the pass rather well the Jets can hang around in a lot of games. Next 2 games for the Jets are pretty winnable before going to Atlanta on a Monday Night.

Geno did have some great moments. Specially for a rookie in a tough game.

Looked better then fucking Dirty Sanchez... I would take Tim Tebow over him any day. I hope for Jets fans sake that Geno gets better and becomes the Jets permanent QB. Only reason I watched the Jets games the last 2 years is to see how awful Sanchez played. Only reason I watch them this year is to see how Geno does and make sure he does enough to take Sanchez spot.

Det lions blew it. I am angry.

3 missed fgs (if you count the one with a penalty)
8 penalties
At least 6 dropped balls
Caused a sack and fumble but there was a penalty but it was negated
Bush gets hurt and we don't score a single point via offense in the 2nd half

Why can't we ever get a clean game?

Yeah, Lions blew that game. I though they had it wrapped up - I was shocked to see the fina, score.

Bears/Vikings game was the best game I've seen so far.

Bears division leaders!

Seattle Seahawks (2-0) seem established as #1 team in the NFL.
Blew out San Francisco again, this time 29-3.

Richard Sherman even slapped his former college coach Jim Harbaugh on the ass.

Great day to be a Seahawks fan!

Even though this was a home win and we will have to face the 9ers on the road later in the season, it was still a statement win.

In the AFC, it's looking like the Broncos are undoubtedly the team to beat, with the other "top" AFC teams looking pretty underwhelming after two weeks. The Patriots have issues to work out. Texans are lucky to be 2-0. Ravens looking pretty average. We'll see how Cincy bounces back on Monday night. Am I missing anyone?

NFC looking pretty scary with the Seahawks, Niners (who I expect to bounce back next week), Packers (offense looking unstoppable), Falcons (another strong offense and underrated D), Saints (finally have competent defense this year), and an improved Bears team. Going to be tough to get the top seed in this conference.
