Official RVF Prayer Requests Thread

Given the recent shift within the forum, I believe it is time to create a thread devoted to sharing
our struggles with other God-fearing men
on this forum so we can pray for each other to become better men.

Many Christian forums I have been on typically have a prayer requests
thread, and while RVF is still not explicitly Christian, I believe that this thread
will help those here that believe in the power of prayer as a very powerful
tool in our arsenal to combat the ills of our modern age along with whatever
personal problems we may be facing

Excellent idea.

Prayer request 1 for God to prevent corruption and division of this forum and protect it as a place for men to find Jesus, fellowship and share the Gospel.

Prayer request 2 that if forum member El Padrone is actually dead that he was able to find Jesus before he passed if he had not known him before.

We'll never know if you prayed to some other other deity so it can't particularly hurt. If you write a prayer request for Vishnu or Allah, I'll edit it in my mind before I pray it. I wont bother me.

If you mean the opposite, as in can non-Christians put up prayer requests I would say definitely. We pray for all kinds of people with afflictions at my Church.

As long as you are praying to the one God who represents Logos, I don't think it should hurt. But if you're a practicing witch or shaman, maybe it's better you don't pray.

I was thinking of Hinduism - its quite Based on dealing with Good vs Evil, Healthy Relationships and a well-balanced life through the key books: Bhagavad Gita / Ramayana etc.

Understand the focus on this thread probably is Christianity so I will refrain from posting anything else. Thanks.

-That gender relations within the USA and the rest of the world can start to heal

-That myself and the other men on this forum struggling with lust can become pure of heart

Lord, intervene in the lives of men contemplating suicide. Their weakest moment can be their moment of salvation where they lay their burdens at the cross. We know this manner of death grieves you and some even believe leads to a loss of salvation.
