Paul Graham's "What Not To Say" Essay

I recently came across Paul Graham's essay "What You Can't Say".

Despite being nearly 20 years old, I believe this essay in hindsight is better now than it would have even been seen at the time. I know it's a very daunting read, but I can assure you this is the definitive and most essential things you made read all year. Even TODAY, this article feels like it's saying more than any Con Inc outlet has said in the last 5 years. The last few paragraphs have a scary prescience to them.

Anyway, just wanted to see what everyone else thinks of this. Have you read it before?

This essay actually came to my mind a week ago. I agree. It is very apt and probably a decent drop of oil or two on normies' rusty brains.. for anyone still spending any energies on that effort.

I learnt something new.

I like the idea that you can think whatever you want in your head but in public, you don't say much and act like everyone else, i think anonymous forums are the "trusted friends" to discuss and argue your ideas publicly.
