In DC, women would like it if you didn't talk to them or tell them to be happy unless you are attractive. From the U St. Metro stop...

In case you can't read the small print

I always got a bunch of smiles from the guys when I went to the Walmart next to my apartment. It made me uncomfortable and self conscious! I always wamted to ask whats so funny! What are you smiling at! I figured it was just southern hospitality or they were gay. Probably.

I may or may not have stood in front of it, telling men and women that life is beautiful, and that we should all smile. :)

there's actually a pretty big movement by feminist related to this, trying to stop street harassment lol.

All they need to do is wear shirts that say "Feminist" in big letters and they will never be bothered.

Men don't want them and chodes never have the sack to hit them up.

Aren't most feminists ugly anyways, so the shirt isn't even necessary in the first place?

On a side note, I remember reading a book written by a feminist a few years back. I actually agreed with every point she made, but she was so argumentative and went off on such irrelevant feministic tangents that I got sick of the book, even though it was advocating for a viewpoint that I supported. Ridiculous. I had to force myself to finish reading the book, only because I make it a habit to finish every book that I start reading.

So would you like it if some random unattractive woman on the street started talking to you in order to try and have sex with you?

I don't think so :dodgy:

Talking to random people on the street is insanely weird. Go to a club/have a social circle. There people go in order to be talked to.

Ok, I'll bite: even if I didn't like it, I certainly wouldn't try to criminalize it. In the worst case, it is still a minor inconvenience.

So if I actually do need directions to somewhere or feel like making a comment about something happening in the vicinity, it's still insanely weird?

>They're not trying to criminalize it. Just some are speaking out saying they don't like it.
>See previous paragraph "talking to random people on the street in order to have sex with them". Asking for directions or making a comment is not trying to get laid.
>Guys who try to "daygame" actually make it hard for normal people to ask for directions or make a comment.

I'd be incredibly flattered. Even if she's unattractive she still wants your babies.

Smile, throw a friendly compliment, and then say you're busy and move on.

People are already seperated by too much. Telling people not to talk to one another isn't helping too much.

But I am saying the same words when I approach a woman because I want to eventually have sex with her and when I don't. Where is this switch that makes my approach a traumatizing experience for someone?

I find ridiculous the notion that talking to someone on the street, no matter the motivation of the person, is something "insanely weird" that makes people "uncomfortable" and needs to be discouraged in general. If someone really finds it that uncomfortable for whatever personal reason, they always have the option of walking with a closed body language and/or headphones, which many actually already do.

Am I supposed to be offended by students offering me flyers too? They're actually trying to sell me something, which is much more "low" than trying to have sex with me.

Uhm. There is a difference here. I've seen a few times some guy on the street or in a mall who is chatting up a lot of different girls. That is weird, creepy and really socially not-done imo. It's awkward for everybody involved.

If you are on the street or anywhere else and you see a woman you really like then by all means, take a shot. Nothing wrong with that. It's the people in the above paragraph that are ruining it for the rest of us, by attaching a stigma to talking to people on the street.

I'm sure you can appreciate the difference here. Going out with the purpose of talking to people on the street is weird and borderline assburger.

Btw I really fucking hate people who try to sell me something on the street too. I don't blame em personally cos ppl gotta eat. But it's still annoying as fuck when somebody you don't want to talk to starts talking to you and doesn't immediately stop again.

despite my spider sense being on at your use of language (bolded), I'll bite and also speculate. If someone is sticking out like a sore thumb while having a conversation with a stranger they are doing it wrong.

Have you ever met a naturally chatty senior citizen? or been in a church in the south, or sat at a sports bar anywhere in Wisconsin?

In those circumstances you can find yourself wrapped up a conversation with a stranger, man or woman on a regular basis. People are just friendly. In the same circumstance if some thirsty guy was petting a girls arm he would also stand out as abnormal.

As someone who has done well with Daygame, its not really 'game' at all, its being able to build rapport with a stranger which is a beneficial skill in many walks of life. Once that rapport is established with a woman, and she's engaged in the conversation its simply directed into a date.

Advocating that talking to strangers is creepy ensures social isolation and if you think its creepy make sure you don't travel alone anywhere or you'll be creeped out for the duration of your trip.

So Roosh, Krauser and all the other daygame writers are autistic? Because that's precisely what they do. I've done it too.

Jaymeister spelled asperger "assburgers". Chicks are so freaking stupid.

Jaymeister, guess what else is creepy? Girls who talk when not spoken to at dinner, girls who don't wear high heels, and girls who are overweight.
