Folks at the adult entertainment company Naughty America, on the other hand, began looking into ways to make money with deepfakes.
This week, the company is launching a new service that allows customers to commission their own deepfake clips, which can include superimposing their own faces onto the bodies of porn performers, or incorporating porn stars into different environments. “We see customization and personalization as the future,” said the company’s CEO Andreas Hronopoulos in an interview with Variety."

Parody porn always has plots. Whatever's popular has a porn equivalent someplace (game of thrones, etc...) I don't see a lot of that on the tube sites and I don't pay for porn so if there's high quality plot-based porn in quantity I don't know about it.

Not to doxx myself but I went to film school and when I moved to California I answered a job ad to be a porn editor and wound up interviewing over it in Chatsworth. While I was there I made eye contact with Tom Byron (google him if you don't know who he is) who was eyeing crates of VHS tapes. He gave ma a really weird look like "what is this guy doing here?"

The guy I spoke to sort of cautioned me about what it would be like to enter the business to see if I had the stomach for it. Part of me really wanted to do it although I would have had a hell of a time explaining what I was doing to my family. But when you're young you're willing to take risks.

Had I done so my life would have been a whole lot more exciting, albeit sinful.

However, when I did watch porn I always wondered why certain porn categories didn't exist. It's no secret many Jews run the porn industry: Steven Hirsch, Ron Jeremy, and Al Goldstein. With that being said though, you never hear about Jewish women. Yeah sure, there is probably some Jewish woman in the industry but there is no pornos with any reference to their Judaism. For instance, you never see a yarmulke on a Jewish woman or a Menorah in the background.

I really do miss porn with complete plots.

I first encountered porn in the mid 80s which was when Nina Hartley was in her prime. It was the video era but they still had plots. The plots were typically like the 80s sex comedies that were out then, only with hardcore sex instead of brief nudity and simulated sex. This kind of stuff is still out there I suppose but it's fading away.

Today, the reality-TV aspect of porn kind of leaves me feeling some degree of disgust and despair over humanity. You know how they sit these girls down and give them an interview where they mechanically rattle off the sex acts they like. You get to see how empty and vapid these people really are. At least when porn involved real acting they could manufacture a fictional character that led a more normal life with more normal motivations, so they felt more relatable than these lost soul bimbos staring at the camera at the foot of a hotel bed with their dead-eyes.
