I am happy to report that I am attending my first Orthodox services this coming weekend. There is a Serbian Orthodox Church a half mile away from me which generally serves the mid TN - south KY region. I am awaiting a response from their email address, but it appears open to all and has traditional foods served. All benefits aside, I am hoping to find a mentor(s) to finally have some bearing in this world outside myself. If not, at least this experience will be a start. I didn't post in the Orthodox forums as I am not an inquirer, nor have I the will at this trying time in my life.
Women eventually "settle" on traditional men. The problem is they destroy themselves in their prime before they do. I meet a number of women in my day-to-day and when I introduce myself and initiate conversation, they get excited followed by getting bored. I know what they are expecting and desiring. They want to be gamed, and I am only interested in courtship. Sorry that grown-up, Christian relationships don't follow the same procedure as hookups in a bar. Moving along.
There are good, beautiful women out there, but I am convinced meeting them will occur in God's time and not ours.
I know this is a positivity/good news thread and that doesn't sound cheery, but there is some positivity in there at least.

After being indefensibly banned by the Biden administration from competing in the U.S. Open in 2021 and 2022, Djokovic returned to New York City for 2023. And won the whole damn thing.
Yes it was a great victory for Novak, or as some call him, Novax, for his repudiation of the hideous vax and associated mandates. Also he became the oldest man to win the US Open and looks as dominating now as at any time in his career.
The above article makes an obvious mistake though. He was not banned in 2021 from the US Open, the ban was in 2022 that disallowed him to play in the Australian Open and US Open of that year, two tournaments he would have likely won. He is the all-time champion of the Australian Open with 10 career championship victories, an accomplishment that didn't stop the Australian government from having him detained and deported in January 2022, nearly creating an international incident between Australia and Serbia.
Djokovic was in the 2021 US Open Finals and lost in straight sets to Medvedev.
