I'm going for the mohawk that Phil Anselmo had in his CFH days, but maybe not quite as long. In second pic, you can see the actual length - I'm planning to grow my hair a shorter than that, maybe two thirds. It's currently about 1/4 of the length in second pic.

Those hair styles are fine. If you have the means, I'd keep the first one. No reason to shave your head everyday if you have hair.

But the first guy should have to serve time in jail for that shirt.

I had his hair when younger:

I lost some, will probably do an own-hair-transplant from the sides to the top, since I have thick side hair that is identical to female hair - regrows eternally. Only 5% of men have such hair - like my father. Unfortunately I inherited it more from my mother's side.

Either way - 10.000$ will get me hair pretty close to what it was at age 24 and I will keep it.

But I had totally shaved my hair and it was alright. Some girls liked it, but it was better with hair.

As for OP's hairstyle - that is highly specific and if you are not a celebrity rocker like the guys, then you are selecting your sex appeal towards a tiny portion of girls who will like it.

Peacocking is fine only when it is somewhat cool.

If you look at hairstyle for a hot guy, then you will be missing your target hair there.
