I think the problem with this thread is that this includes Roman Catholic "prophecies." The trad types like Taylor Marshall believe that Russia will convert to Catholicism and that the "Great Monarch" will work in tandem with a righteous Pope to defeat the Antichrist. Of course, this all assumes that the Eastern Orthodox will submit to the Pope.
I doubt the supposed apparition of the Theotokos to the three children of Fatima, and all RC mystics claiming that the future Emperor who will restore the Roman Empire will have to come from the lineage of Charlemagne.

It's the Catholic interpretation. But overall we have the same common elements. Russia becomes a theocratic monarchy and works to defeat the antichrist. I think that we shouldn't get too hung up on the details here and focus on the big picture.

Bishop Neophytos of Morphou ( Cyprus) said that (at least one) a hesychast (bearer of Holy Spirit) said to him that the leaders of Turkey who will come after Erdogan will make even bigger mistakes than him. I think that the prophecy about war with Turkey applies to the pre-revolutionary Russian Empire. The entire 19th century the Russian Empire was involved in wars with the Ottoman Empire, the Crimean War, the Balkan War, the Caucasian War. During WW1 the Russian Empire was supposed to finally defeat their centuries old enemy, and take Istanbul, renaming it Constantinople. The Russian Empire was very close to completely defeating the Ottoman Empire during the war. If the coup wouldn't have occurred, Russia would have won in WW1. But the timeline had been modified however, invalidating the previous prophecies. We live in some kind of paradox timeline.
I don't think that's how God works.
This has been discussed and Turkey is only a quasi ally or one of convenience. They can (and I believe will) act up and out, as they have for the last decade or so with Erdogan at the helm, and not be liked for various reasons ... thus jettisoned when other members are considered more valuable or historically more legitimate (Greece, a stronger US ally, and also one of Russia).
I of course am not holy, nor able to see the future, but I can discern a few things or guess pretty well, like many of you all given our personalities, faith, or other gifts from God. I see a multipolar world coming with the US being humbled due to lower standard of living, and plenty of domestic strife due to being used to elevated/fake USD world reserve benefits. How humbled or repented, or in what regions they are most, will determine what happens with the USA. That's why it's important to get out of the big cities, which are total cesspools and run into the ground, already. Not seeing that will cause a personal Gomorrah for you or your kin. What God allows as far as war is total speculation, but I'm pretty sure the plan is a war within the next 3 years given the inability to keep this fake system afloat, especially now that inflation and other failed policies have cornered the politicians, the Fed, and many other "leaders" who do in fact desire a culling of sorts.
What you said would make sense if wouldn`t start a conflict between two NATO members. But in that case, paradigma will be completely changed. If Greece would be in danger to be overwhelmed by the Turkish might what sense would make that the rest of NATO to jump to rescue or even revenge Turkey? My friend, there are not only prophecies of contemporary spiritual fathers but other prophecies along centuries that claim that Turkey will be punished for sins done along the history by the hand of Russians. And that is yet to come.
It`s hard to believe but so will be. One of the greatest saints of XXth century,Saint Paisios the Athonite, said it , other new spiritual fathers and spiritual fathers along the centuries (Methodius, martyr and archbishop of Pataras in IIIrd century, hieromonk Agatangel in XIVth century for examples).Main events:
1. War started between Turkey and Greece
2. Intervention of Russia. Distruction of Turkey.
3. Dispute between Russia and West for Constantinople.
4.Classical war between NATO troops and Russians for the Big City for a limited amount of time. Stalemate.
5. Agreement to give Constantinople to a third party, the original owners,the Greeks. This would be convenient for both sides, for West because Greece belongs to West (practically being the cradle of western civilization) and to Russians because Greeks are orthodox. Thus will be fulfilled the Lord`s providence.
I double replied because I have an interesting dialogue with Saint Paisios the Athonite (1924 - 1994) from the book `Paisios the Athonite - testimonies from the believers` written by Nicolae Zurnazoglu.

Strange how you imply that prophecies can be tampered or invalidated, suggesting that God can be limited by events here on earth. You're right though that without the Bolsheviks, Russia could have retaken Constantinople or at least help the Greeks fight the Turks. What happened IRL was that Kemal Ataturk made a backdoor deal with Britain, France and Italy, making the Entente powers backstab the Greeks in the last minute. Even if this still happened in a no-Soviet Union timeline, Greece would still have the backing of Russia (and I highly doubt that Russia would leave the newly formed Turkish republic alone) and retaking Constantinople would still be possible. Britain and France wouldn't want to spark another major war against Russia, given the exhaustion of the Great War.
